Post-press processing technology - embossing

Embossing is an important process in the post-press processing process of packaging, and it is an embossing method that does not use printing ink. When pressing the emboss, a group of concave stencils and embosses corresponding to the yin and yang of the graphic and text are used, and the substrate is placed in between, and the embossed concave and convex graphics are pressed out by applying greater pressure.

This method of embossing is mostly used for post-press processing of printed matter and paper containers, such as for the decoration of trademarks, cigarette packs, cartons, New Year's cards, bottle sticks, etc., so that it can obtain a vivid and beautiful three-dimensional feeling. When used properly, the embossing process can increase the layering of the printed pattern and play a finishing role in the packaging product.

The process of embossing is not only presented on paper, but also on PVC, metal, leather and other materials to increase the texture of the finished product itself.
