Imposition is also known as "bound version" and "group version". The second step in manual nesting. We will not always do 16K, 8K and other regular products in the work, especially the packaging box, small card (certificate) and so on are often not opened, at this time we need to pay attention to the finished product as much as possible in the right paper opening range when imposing, in order to save costs.
For example, the maximum size of the digital printing machine is only 320*450mm (about that, of course, there is a larger format), for example, the finished size of the business card is 90*50mm, and a number of business cards are spelled to the 320*450mm paper according to the rules of imposition in order to make better use of the paper and reduce waste. The imposition of other printed products is the same as above.
Manual imposition: refers to the use of manual methods to arrange the film tablets or printed sulfuric acid paper in an orderly and neat manner, which has high requirements for human operation, and has gradually declined and been replaced by computer software imposition.
Computer imposition: The main popular software is: the large version of the spelling book version is generally used Kodak's Preps, the small version has QarXkess, Indesign, and the multi-use AI (Illutrator) for packaging or brochures, as well as Freehand, corel draw, Adobe Acrobat (with imposition plug-in qiplus).
