Introduction

Books bound with ring are great for reports, brochures, children's books, high-tech manuals, cookbooks, and reference materials. The advantages to this binding are that it's durable, crushproof, clean, modern looking, and it allows your book to open flat.

Spiral binding is an extremely popular style for everything from workbooks and cookbooks to calendars, journals, planners and training guides. Tips of printing:

After-printing processing technology are all here.

Surface finishing process definition

Film: The film coating process can be divided into two types: the sub-film and the bright film. The sub-film is not as bright as the bright film, but the film can enhance the moisture, sun, abrasion, anti-fouling, water and resistance of the printed matter. Thermal and other properties.

U V: UV printing is a printing process that uses UV light to dry and cure ink. UV can increase the brightness and artistic effect of the product, protect the surface of the product, its hardness, corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, etc. Some laminating products are now changed to UV, which can meet environmental requirements, but UV products are not easy to bond, some Can only be solved by local UV or sanding.

Gluing: Pressing a layer of plastic film on the printed matter, there are crystal film, light film, sub-film, soft touch film and other materials to choose from.

Bronzing hot silver: Using hot pad printing method, the metal foil (gold, silver foil) is stamped on the surface of the printed matter, so that the surface of the product has a metallic texture and effect.

Punch: Also known as embossing, use pressure to press graphics or text on the surface of the print to achieve a special touch and visual effect.

Flocking: Apply a layer of glue on the surface of the printed matter, and then put some fluffy material on it to make the surface of the printed matter have the effect of flannel.

Embossing: The embossing process is a process of using an uneven mold to plastically deform a printed matter under a certain pressure to perform artistic processing on the surface of the printed matter. The surface of the embossed printed matter has different patterns and textures, which have obvious three-dimensional relief and enhance the artistic appeal of the printed matter.

Glazing: There are three forms of glazing, namely coating, calendering and UV glazing, which can enhance the moisture, sun, abrasion, anti-fouling and water resistance of printed matter.

Molding process

Die-cutting: The die-cutting process is to make a special die-cutting knife according to the design requirements of the printed matter, and then roll-cut the printed matter or other substrates into the desired forming or cutting process under the action of pressure.

Folding: Folding is a common post-press process, with folding, tri-fold, four-fold, five-fold, accordion folding and other folding methods.

Indentation: If the paper is too thick, or if the printed product is too crisp, the internal pulp will be exposed, causing serious damage to the picture. Indentation is a good way to solve this problem. The indentation is divided into three principles: flat pressure, rolling, and rotary pressure, which have different advantages and disadvantages and adaptation occasions.

The line is also called the dot line, the dotted line, the needle thread, the floss, and the like. It is often used in the production of coupon coupons, tickets, receipts, tickets, discount cards, etc.

Punch: Make a hole in the print according to the size of the hole, which is common in tag printing.

Bookbinding process

Saddle stitching: The most compact and commonly used binding method for thin book binding.

Flat: Both the wire and the wire are all flat. It is a binding method that uses a wire (wire) to nail the printed book page after folding and matching the printed book page. Used for binding books in general.

Locking tape: Locking tape is used to avoid the disadvantages of easy-to-scatter and de-bonding of wireless binding. It is often used in book bindings with a large number of pages, such as dictionary books.

Wireless plastic packaging: mainly used in offset paper printing, such as product brochures, novels, teaching aids and so on.

Locking tape backing: also called lock line glue binding, when binding, each letter will be locked and then glued, no longer when glued

Milling Back: This bookbinding method is sturdy and flat, and there are many books using this method.

Plastic line hot stamping: This is a more advanced binding method, which is characterized in that the signature in the book block has been bonded 2 times. The first bonding function is to bond the plastic line foot and the signature paper to make the signature. Book pages in

Fixing: The second bonding is to bond the book block of the plastic line to the book block by wireless adhesive bonding. The book block made by this method is very firm, and the glue is not used for milling. The impact of quality.

Loose-leaf binding: hot-melt envelope, iron ring, spiral ring, apron, Ville, steel ridge, plastic tube hot riveting, ridge strips, etc.

Hardcover: The process is more complicated, and it is generally used in high-end albums, recipes, stamps, and commemorative albums.
