In actual work, there is a problem that the noise value exceeds the standard in the offset printing machine operation, which has certain influence on the operator's health. Therefore, it is necessary to take noise reduction measures during the operation of the offset printing machine.
First, the harm of noise
Disharmony or unnecessary sound caused by vibration in the air can be regarded as noise. Noise can be annoying, angry, distracting, and frustrating, causing psychological and physical stress and adverse effects. It is intangible, but the harm it produces is obvious.
First, the noise generated during the operation of the offset press can cause hearing loss to the operator and can even cause pathological changes in the physiological system. Studies have found that long-term work in a strong noise environment can cause damage to the cardiovascular system and the nervous system of the brain and the digestive system.
Second, noise also has an adverse effect on work efficiency. Due to the noise in the working environment, it is difficult for the operator to concentrate, resulting in annoyance, resulting in reduced work efficiency; and noise interferes with normal language and communication, which is prone to operator neglect of the machine alarm signal, thereby causing a safety accident.
In addition, strong noise can damage the offset press equipment. The study found that when the noise reaches 135 dB, the device will cause a fault in the trimmer potentiometer or capacitor due to the linear jitter of the connection. When the noise level exceeds 150 dB, components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors will occur. Failure or damage, resulting in fatigue of the metal, resulting in breakage, damage, etc.
Second, noise reduction measures
The noise reduction measures are mainly for the excessive noise part of the offset printing machine operation, and can take two measures of engineering control and management control.
1. Engineering control approach
The main noise sources of offset printing machines include main power unit, feeder, paper path, ink path and gas path. If it is controlled from the noise source of the offset printing machine itself, it can be reduced from the noise of the main power unit of the offset printing machine, the noise of the intake and exhaust system, and the noise of the transmission system. The following three methods for reducing noise from the offset press itself, conditional printing companies can be tried, in specific ways:
① Apply damping material to the engine. The damping material can convert kinetic energy into heat energy. The principle of damping treatment is to combine a damping material and a part to consume vibration energy.
② Install an air intake muffler for the air system, using a resistive muffler (sound-absorbing type), a resistant muffler, and a composite muffler.
③ Reduce the transmission system noise by controlling the balance of the drive shaft to reduce torsional vibration; or using a low-noise transmission.
2. Propagation control approach
In addition, we can reduce the damage of the offset machine noise to the workers from the aspect of controlling the noise transmission. Some ways to learn from are:
① Use appropriate sound absorbing materials for the wall of the workshop. The use of appropriate sound absorbing materials in the offset printing shop can better absorb the reverberation sound caused by the wall reflection, which reduces the noise in the working environment. The sound absorbing material is made of felt, seaweed, glass wool, wood wool board, sound absorbing brick, etc. These materials can absorb some of the noise incident on them.
② Construct sound insulation facilities such as sound enclosures or sound insulation screens to isolate the operator from the noise source and protect the operator from noise. For example, a noise source such as a motor or a fan can be installed in the sound insulation cover, or a sound insulation room can be provided at the offset machine operation table, so that the operator can perform equipment operation in the sound insulation room to avoid noise hazard.
③ Install the vibration isolation device under the unit so that the vibration is not transmitted to other objects and radiate noise.
3. Management control approach
In the process of offset printing, combined with the status quo of printing enterprise management, noise prevention and control can be considered from the management approach. The specific measures are as follows:
① Provide the operator with ear protectors, earplugs or noise-proof helmets that meet the requirements and have sufficient sound and decay function. Since anti-noise helmets are expensive, they are generally used when the noise level is above 1 10 d B; therefore, offset printer operators can usually use earplugs or ear protectors. The earplugs are made of ordinary plastic and silicone rubber. Silicone rubber molded earplugs have good sealing properties and good sound insulation.
② Regularly perform physical examinations for operators exposed to noise, establish a health record, focus on monitoring employees' basic hearing and tracking hearing, and suffer from occupational diseases such as high blood pressure due to noise damage.
③ Printing enterprises with conditions and high noise hazard should regularly monitor the noise of the offset printing machine to observe whether the noise exposure limit exceeds the standard. If the standard exceeds the standard, and the reason for exceeding the standard is caused by the aging of the components, the enterprise should replace the noise. Low new parts.
