Pay attention to the following aspects when storing lithographic paper:
The warehouse where the paper is stored should be higher than the height of the ground. The warehouse should be clean, dry and well ventilated. The window should not be too much, it should be opened at a high place, and must be small, and equipped with curtains to prevent direct sunlight from shining onto the paper. The temperature in the warehouse is 18-22 ° C, and the relative humidity is 60-65%. The warehouse must be dedicated, and other chemicals should not be piled up in the warehouse, or items with high moisture content.
When the paper is placed on the ground, it should be padded with sleepers. The height of the paper should be about 35cm. At the same time, the paper should be about 40cm away from the wall. Do not ventilate the warehouse after wind or snow or rainy weather to prevent the paper from getting wet. In the rainy season, it is necessary to prevent mildew on the paper. When the paper shows a small amount of mildew, it can be lightly applied with 3% formaldehyde solution. If there is a serious mildew phenomenon, it can be fumigated with sulfuryl fluoride.
The lithographic paper should be laid flat, not stacked vertically. After the lithographic paper is laid flat on three layers, it should be stacked in a cone shape when it is stacked upwards to prevent collapse. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the warehouse and should be equipped with the necessary fire protection facilities. There should be no open lines on the walls, and electrical appliances with open flames are not allowed. A running account should be established to indicate the time of shipment and the time of storage. Paper should be distributed according to the principle of advanced paper first out to prevent paper from deteriorating. Always check the paper condition, especially in the spring and summer, to prevent the insects from biting.
Do not unpack the paper when it is stored. If there is damage to the packaging, you should find a way to remedy the paper from direct exposure to the air, causing the paper to frequently exchange moisture with the outside world, causing the paper to undergo undue deformation.
The temperature and humidity of the printing environment should not be too different from the temperature and humidity of the storage paper warehouse to prevent the paper from being deformed after the paper is transported to the printing environment. A certain passage should be reserved between different types of paper piles to facilitate the handling of paper.
