Today, with the diversification of security and anti-counterfeiting measures, various new anti-counterfeiting technologies are emerging one after another, presenting a situation of blooming. The key to an anti-counterfeiting technology is to extend the timeliness and uniqueness of anti-counterfeiting technology, which is also the goal pursued by anti-counterfeiting technology. The anti-counterfeiting technology mainly includes: anti-counterfeiting of printing design, anti-counterfeiting of printing paper, anti-counterfeiting of printing ink and anti-counterfeiting of printing process. Among them, the development of printing ink anti-counterfeiting technology is very good, and the application range is increasingly wide.

1. Anti-counterfeiting principle of achromatic ink

The so-called anti-counterfeiting ink is a special printing ink which is processed by a special process by adding a special performance anti-counterfeiting material to the ink binder. Anti-counterfeiting inks are mainly classified into the following types according to their anti-counterfeiting functions: 1 magnetic anti-counterfeiting ink. 2 fluorescent inks and phosphorescent inks. 3 reaction color ink. 4 anti-altering ink. 5 daylight activated color changing ink. 6 smart anti-counterfeiting inks. 7 infrared inks. 8 nanometer ink. Among them, the reaction color changing ink is an important part of the anti-counterfeiting ink, and can be further divided into: a thermochromic ink, a photosensitive color changing ink, a humidity sensitive color ink, a pressure sensitive color ink, and the like. Reactive color-changing inks are chemical substances that are added to the ink under certain conditions (such as light, heat, humidity, pressure, etc.), and various chemical reactions can occur, so that the ink changes color and achieves anti-counterfeiting purposes. The decolorizing ink is a branch of the reactive color changing ink, which is an ink that is easily discolored or dissolved by water or chemicals.

2. Classification of achromatic inks

Water-decoloring ink is also known as moisture-sensitive ink. The anti-counterfeiting principle is that the coloring material contains a color that changes with the change of humidity. It can be decolorized by water or bleach, and is generally a water-soluble substance containing an oxidizing agent or a reducing agent. The anti-counterfeiting feature is that the dry state is colorless and the wet state becomes colored. The water-eliminating ink is further divided into reversible achromatic, irreversible achromatic, and moisture-sensitive diffusion, and has four colors of blue, green, black and red.

●The color of the reversible achromatic ink changes from colored to colorless after the water is dripping. After the water droplets evaporate, the original color is restored. The color is white→no, only silkscreen or gravure. For silk screen printing, it is recommended to use 200 mesh screen printing. The thicker the better.

● Irreversible achromatic ink: It is an oily ink. It changes from colored to colorless after dripping. After the water droplets evaporate, the color no longer returns to the original color. The color is black→none, red→none, blue→none, green→none. Only silk screen printing, gravure printing, printing is required to be thinner, bright colors, good fading effect, such as silk screen printing is recommended to use 350-420 mesh screen printing.

●The humidity-sensitive diffusion is irreversible, and the colors are red, yellow, blue, green, etc., and can only be printed by water-based screen printing.

organic solvent decolorizing ink, such as alcohol, gasoline, benzene, etc. The principle of discoloration of organic solvents and discoloration of water is fundamentally uniform, and they are all discolored according to the mutual reaction of the corresponding chemical substances.

water-eliminating inks and organic solvent-eliminating inks can be called composite decolorizing inks. The composite decolorizing ink can react to aqueous solvents, bleaching and organic solvents to achieve the purpose of color reduction. In general, weak bleaches can remove the stamp on the passport and the water-soluble pen ink. If you want to remove all or part of the ballpoint pen ink, you can pass the organic solvent. However, these solvents are not likely to have an effect on all printing and pen inks. Among them, black ink is based on carbon, and a general solvent cannot decolorize it. The composite decolorizing ink is a manifestation of the development trend of anti-counterfeiting inks, because the composite anti-counterfeiting ink can not only prolong the service life of the anti-counterfeiting ink, but also improve the anti-counterfeiting effect.

binary anti-counterfeiting ink, which means that the decolorizing ink contains a fluorescent component, and it can be easily distinguished whether or not the solvent has been used under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. Accordingly, partially faded inks contain visible fade components and have a permanent fluorescent component. Under visible light irradiation, these inks do not seem to exist at all, but when exposed to ultraviolet light, they can be observed by the human eye. Many printing inks lose their fluorescence during bleaching. Therefore, we can use fluorescent inks as a feature to test whether bleaching has been tested by machine.

3. Application of achromatic ink

Currently, water-eliminating inks are more commonly used inks, often used as a background for the signature portion of a document, and are used below the easily altered numbers. In addition to the achromatic ink as the background color, when the substrate is bleached, a chemical reaction may occur to cause brown spots. In the documents that need to be identified, such as photos on the passport, the composite is laminated between the substrate and the foil for the wrapping material, and the water-eliminating ink is printed on the inner surface of the foil so that it can be detected. There is water.

Many waterproof signs are printed with water-decoloring inks that are attached to the inside of the phone's main unit or to a location outside the battery. When the logo is not exposed to water or moisture, the edges of the image are clear and will not fade or change color. When the water is encountered, the color of the image will spread at the edge and cannot be restored. It can be used as a symbol for the transportation, storage and use of products such as electronic devices. Currently, many mobile phone manufacturers have adopted this high quality waterproof logo. This kind of logo can also determine some claims issues and provide corresponding scientific evidence.

In short, due to the increasing level of counterfeiting and counterfeiting of ticket and product trademarks, and the large number of counterfeiting, the new anti-counterfeiting technology has been promoted, and the authenticity of the object to be protected is required to be quickly, cheaply and accurately revealed, and the anti-counterfeiting ink plays an important role. The role. Achromatic inks have also emerged. Although the current achromatic ink has been greatly developed and applied to life, due to the conditions of preparation and inspection of the achromatic ink, it cannot be widely applied to any field like other inks. However, as technology continues to advance, many difficulties will be solved, and we believe that this very easy-to-use anti-counterfeiting method will become an important part of anti-counterfeiting technology.
