Pulling means that the single fibers, fiber bundles or cells unique to some materials are peeled off from the paper during printing. Powder drop refers to the fact that the powdery material in the paper which is weakly bonded to the paper surface is generally a filler and a pigment, which is peeled off from the paper surface by the influence of the adhesive action during printing.
There are two reasons for the pulling and falling of paper. First, it is caused by the printing operation process, such as ink viscosity, printing pressure, printing speed, dampening solution, etc., which is caused by the surface strength of the paper itself not meeting the requirements.
1. Printing causes the pulling and falling powder faults. The printing operation paper is in the instant of ink transfer. Under the action of inertial force, the ink adhesion, peeling force, and the adsorption force of the printing blanket are larger than the surface strength of the paper. There will be phenomena such as pulling and dropping powder.
When the hair is pulled or the powder is severely dropped, it will adhere to the printing plate or the blanket, and the graphic part on the paper leaves white spots. Some of the fiber wool, fillers, etc. that are stuck are also brought into the ink by the ink roller, which causes the printed product to be blurred. In addition, the paper hair on the printing plate is reversed to the ink roller and the ink fountain to be mixed with the ink. As the printing progresses, more and more paper wool and paper powder are accumulated on the printing plate, which seriously affects the sufficient transfer of the printing ink. This results in a shutdown scrub and reduces production efficiency. In order for the press to function properly, the paper must reach a certain level of strength.
