Printing is a special type of printing. In general, its printing and finishing are done once on the labeling machine, that is, multiple processing operations are performed on several machines in one machine. Because it is on-line processing, the control of the quality of self-adhesive label printing is a comprehensive printing and processing problem. It should be comprehensively considered and implemented from the aspects of material selection, equipment configuration and regulation, and process route formulation. The application of the label product at the customer's location to further improve the quality of the label product.
First, the choice of raw materials
When selecting raw materials, it is necessary to use high-quality, self-adhesive materials with qualified physical and chemical indicators, rather than products with unstable or physicochemical indicators. Because the latter is low in price, due to the unstable quality of such materials, the consumption in each process is large, and even the equipment cannot be processed normally. When the raw materials are wasted, a lot of manpower and material resources are wasted, and the processing cost of the finished label is obtained. It is not necessarily low. What is more serious is that it may be returned by customers or even lost customers.
The choice of raw materials should be considered from the following two aspects.
1. Printing and processing characteristics of self-adhesive materials

Some indicators determine the uniformity of the ink absorption of the self-adhesive material, and also determine the color difference of the same batch of printed products. The coating strength of the face material determines whether a large amount of paper powder is produced during printing, and is also an important indicator for determining the quality of the printing.
2 base paper, surface material uniformity and strength indication
These indicators are not only related to printing performance, but also an important indicator for determining die-cut uniformity and speed and paper edge breakage during discharge. If these indicators are too low, the label machine will not produce at the same speed.
3 flatness of material or uniformity of rewinding tension
Whether it is single-sheet printing or web printing, the flatness of the material determines whether the paper can be fed correctly, run and registered, and the paper is delivered. For the roll material, the rewinding tension plays an important role in the flatness of the end face of the roll material, whether there is bleeding, and whether it can be properly registered.
4 adhesive, silicone oil coating uniformity and correct coating amount
These indicators directly follow the peeling force (release force) between the impact label and the bottom paper, and the peeling force directly affects the die cutting waste and the speed of the machine. The peeling force also determines the labeling condition of the label, that is, the application. . In addition, the amount of glue applied will also affect the bleeding of the end faces of the material. Therefore, when purchasing self-adhesive materials, it is necessary to carefully check the materials that are suitable for the amount of glue applied and the amount of silicon applied.
