After years of production practice, the author based on the experience of pre-press production management, simply talk about how to eliminate waste and reduce costs in the use of photo-setting machines.
First, the use of development and fixing liquid
1. In prepress production, the recycling of the fixer is the most common method of saving liquid. In fact, the fixing solution used once has a certain liquid activity, and it is collected into a waste liquid tank. When the liquid medicine needs to be changed, the collected waste liquid and the new medicine are mixed in a certain ratio and injected into the liquid medicine tank. Can be used again. The mixing ratio of waste liquid and new drug should be determined according to the specific conditions. If the waste liquid is used less frequently, you can add more waste liquid and add less new drugs. If the waste liquid is used more frequently, you can add more new drugs. Add less waste. Generally, the number of times of waste liquid recycling is 5-6 times. Of course, the premise of recycling waste liquid is to ensure that the quality of the output photo slides meets the needs of business production.
2. Reasonably set the replenishing amount and replenishing time of the developing solution and fixing solution replenishing liquid, and also achieve the purpose of quality and consumption reduction. There are two probes in the developing tank and the fixing tank for detecting the liquid level of the liquid. When the liquid level is lower than the tail end of the probe, the washing machine stops working, and the system prompts to replenish the liquid. According to this principle, we can reasonably set the replenishing amount and replenishing time of the replenishing liquid under the premise of ensuring the normal operation of the washing machine, minimizing the replenishing amount of the replenishing liquid and prolonging the replenishing time interval of the replenishing liquid, so that the flushing can be ensured. The machine can continue to work without stopping the machine, and can reduce the total amount and frequency of the system to add replenishing liquid.
3. In addition, in the summer, keeping the ambient temperature of the imagesetter properly low can slow down the evaporation rate of the liquid. If the contracted work is more stable or time-consuming, it is possible to collect several batches of work pieces to unify the hair discharge, which can reduce the number of frequent dosing due to the low density of the photo-discharge film caused by the volatilization of the liquid.
Second, the use of photo film
1. Change the photo output direction to save the photo. Before the output of the film, change the orientation according to the file size and layout direction, or output several files to save the material loss, and greatly improve the output efficiency.
2. According to the cutting of the film leader. When replacing the photo film, because it is a bright room operation, the film head usually has a partial exposure of 3-4cm. To solve this problem: First, increase the width of the hairline file by about 4cm, leaving the position of the film exposure part, so that the output is The work piece can avoid cutting the first photo film and re-output, saving time and raw materials. Second, if conditions permit, the photo-setting machine working environment can be turned into a closable dark room. The bright room becomes a dark room, the piece is pulled out, and the piece is trimmed with a blade, so that it can be used for only a short period, and the first piece is saved. Moreover, if you encounter the phenomenon of falling film and card, you can also use the dark room environment to manually put the exposed photo film into the washing machine, so as to avoid unnecessary waste.
3. In the process of using the imagesetter, the most common fault is the card phenomenon. The photo is stuck in the exposure roller, stuck in the bridge, stuck in the inlet of the processor, and stuck in the processor. This requires the operator to carefully study the operating procedures of the imagesetter, and operate correctly during production to avoid waste due to misoperation of the operator's work attitude and responsibility.
