Adobe has never stopped upgrading its classic products. Almost every year, it has been released in a more scientific and practical way. The Adobe Creative Suite software launched in October last year is a master of innovation and exploration for many years. Its full version of the integrated environment provides a creative space for graphic designers.

The Adobe Creative Suite Suite (CS) includes Adobe's latest printing and web publishing software, which not only provides a more powerful upgrade of the five software features Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Golive, but also includes the previously released Acrobat 6 Professional. Edition and Adobe's new image file management application Version Cue Platinum Suite. And if you save $300, you can get a standard set that saves Golive and Acrobat.

Adobe CS is a beautiful woman who can be fascinated by designers. It not only has a beautiful appearance, but also has rich connotations, including new file management functions, smooth Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) workflow, and a comprehensive Design resources.

I have been looking forward to having a beautiful date with her, and this month’s wish has finally come true. This time, her charming figure made us full of eyes.

Photoshop CS

Adobe has added new convenience features and improved on the old version, which is also an update to the most powerful image processing software in the world today.

New file browser

1. Toolbar. Here you can find the icons of the File Browserl{File Browser} common commands: Rotate, Mark, Find and Delete. 2. File Browser Menu These menus include commands for viewing and arranging files, making it easy to automate multiple images. 3. Preview The Preview panel displays a high-resolution preview of the selected image. Adjust its size to enlarge the preview. 4. Configure the panel Drag the boundary bar between any two panels to resize the panel, and drag their title bar to other locations to reconfigure the panel. 5. Information Panel Here you can view the selected image information and complete the search by information.

Color Replacement: Use the Color Replacement tool to quickly paint a new color for a flower. Dark and highlights We use the Shadow/Highlight dialog to correct the original underexposed photos. Observing the photos that have been taught, Potoshop only corrects the difference in underexposure.

More sophisticated document management

In Photoshop 7, Adobe introduced File Browser (hereafter called "File Browser"), which has limited functionality and a monotonous interface, which is not very practical. What's high is that in Photoshop CS, Adobe has reworked the "File Browser" to achieve a powerful and easy-to-use file management function.

Ease of use

The File Browser icon (a folder with a magnifying glass) placed in the options bar of Photoshop CS allows you to quickly open or close the File Browser window. This saves a lot of time and is more convenient than the File Browser tab in the Photoshop 7 options bar.

Customizable workspace

You can customize the File Browser by adjusting the size of the Folder, Preview, Metadata, and Keywords panels, or drag their title bar to other locations. You can save the "File Browser" configuration as a workspace, as well as small, medium, large, and custom-sized thumbnails (in the View menu).

More flexible file operations

In the File Browser window, you can move files as you like, just click and drag their thumbnails to drag them to another folder. In addition, by clicking the marker icon at the top of the File Browser window, you can select multiple files and quickly mark them by group. The Show pop-up menu allows you to display both marked and unmarked files, or both, while the Sort and View menus provide several options for arranging and displaying files.

Improved information function

In the Metadata dashboard, you can define and assign data for single or multiple images, and the panel displays all the information for the selected file. You can also find it in real time based on the information.

More automated

The Batch command under the File Browser Automate menu allows you to manipulate multiple files. The new Photomerge command in the Automate menu combines multiple images into a single, seamless panorama. In addition, some commands, such as Picture Package and Contact sheet II, can be used in the File Browser.

Keyword lookup

The Keyword panel allows you to create single or grouped keywords that can be applied to one or more files. In addition, it includes a Search command under its pop-up menu to complete keyword searches. For example, you can assign a keyword to all existing images, such as "loser", and then use this keyword as a basis for finding to quickly locate, display, and delete all related images.

Match and replace colors

Photoshop CS's new Match Color (hereafter referred to as "color matching") feature allows you to apply the color quality of one image (source image) to another (target image). Applying an image to another image's color matching scheme, color matching images in different lighting conditions, or a good balance of different colors in a special effect photo.

When matching colors, you can choose to match the entire image or selected areas in the image. To match the color between the two images, first open the target image and the source image, then select the target image. Arrange the two windows (Window>Arrange>Tile) so that both images can be seen, then select (Image>Adjustments>Match Color) and select the source image from the Source menu in the Color Match dialog box. Click the Neutralize box to remove the color applied to the target image, and click the Preview box to update the target image to be modified in the document window. Luminance, Color Intensity, and Fade controls can also be adjusted to change the display of the target image. When we talk about the theme of color, the new repair brush tool (bandage icon) in the toolbox allows you to apply the foreground color on the selection area without affecting the texture or shadow in the selection area. It's perfect to make brown eyes blue or change the ugly green color value to a soft hue.

Dark part and highlight

Some photos or photographs are so poor that they cannot be saved. Other images may require minor corrections: If you find yourself needing to correct underexposed or overexposed photos, try the Shadow/Highllght tool (Image>Adjustments>shadow/Highlight). This cool tool can greatly improve the contrast of underexposed parts while ensuring that the image is fully displayed. Is there any other feature? Photoshop won't touch the exposure + the right area - when you do, your family won't think you have beautified the photo.

Create path text

In Photoshop 7, if you want to wavy path text, it's bad, you can't do it. But in Photoshop CS, you can do it. It's actually a two-step process: First, create a path with the pen tool or a shape picker. Then select any of the four types of tools, click on the path you created, and enter your text. Using the direction selection tool (a solid arrow) under the Path Selection tool, you can reset the text position, move the pointer to the text (in this case, display a (pointer), then click and drag. Tap the text to drag to At the other end of the path, place the pointer over the text, then click and drag the I-shaped pointer through the path. Also want to typeset? Don't worry -- you can edit any text in the path.

Unfortunately, Photoshop CS's path text editing capabilities are weak compared to Illustrator CS and InDesign CS. For example, it does not provide any effect on path fonts (such as rainbows and distortions), nor does it provide an arrangement option that allows you to arrange vertical and path-related text vertically.

Scan pictures correctly

Suppose you, like most image artists, may painfully spend hours scanning images into a Mac -- and it will take a few more pains to correct every image in Photoshop. Because you are unskilled, nervous hands may not be able to place them flat on the scanner. As you might guess, the Crop And Straighten Photos command (File>Automate>Crop And straighten Photos) automatically rebuilds and stretches all images and creates a separate file for each image. You can also use this feature to correct individual images.

Create multiple versions

Sometimes, especially when you want to manage graphics files. If you need to provide customers with multiple versions of a design pattern and don't want to be overwhelmed by multiple image files, you can use the Layers Comp feature to create a snapshot of the Layers panel. Record the visibility, position, and appearance of the layers in the file. To create a new layer, open the Layer Combinations panel (Window>Layer Comps). Arrange the layers according to the scenario you want to save them in the Layers panel, then select New Layer Comp from the pop-up menu in the Layer Combinations panel (hereafter referred to as "New Layer Combination"). In the New Layer Combination dialog, select the option you want to apply to the layer (turn visibility on, off, and appearance). Any of your settings will be applied to the new layer combination.

After creating two or more layers, you can switch between them by clicking the layer icon immediately following the layer name in the panel. When you modify a layer, you should periodically click the update layer icon (circular double arrow) at the bottom of the panel to save your changes. In the Layers panel of the file, you can drag out individual layers and create multi-page PDF files and web pages.

Original image import

Photoshop CS (plus $99 for Photoshop 7) bundled with the Camera Raw plugin allows you to work with raw files. Unfortunately, this feature does not support raw files from all cameras; you can find a list of cameras that this feature can support at www.adobe.com:80/products/photoshop/cameraraw.htm.

To open a source file, select (File>Openl). Find and select an original file. (You can also select Camera Raw from the Show menu to display only the original files from your digital camera). Click Open and the image will appear in the Camera Raw dialog. The preview window shows the modified effects of the various settings you made in the Adjust, Details, Lens, and Calibrate frames (the last two settings are displayed when you click Advanced). The controller at the bottom left of the dialog allows you to specify the color range, color depth, pixel size and resolution. If you want to save your custom settings, select Save Settings from the pop-up menu and your saved settings will appear in the Sdtting menu. Click OK to open a copy of the original image with no changes to the original file.

We use the PHOTOMERGE command to create five composite images from this composite panorama.

Apply new filter

If you are a fan of Photoshop filters, you will definitely like to use the Filter Gallery ("Filter Gallery") dialog box (Filter>Filter Gallery), which allows you to adjust and apply multiple filters at the same time. See the effect of the filter through the thumbnails. Unfortunately, the 13 filters under the Filter menu only display Artistic, Brush strokes, Distort Sketch, Stylize, and Texture in the Filter Gallery. Apply a single filter to the Filter Gallery by simply selecting the filter. To apply each new filter, click the New Layer icon (white paper with a corner) at the bottom of the panel and select a filter. There are also two new filters, including Lens Blur ("Lens Filter") (Filter>Blur>Lens Blur), which blurs a portion of the image to produce a gradient effect. When the "Lens Filter" is applied, some of the area remains in focus while other parts become blurred. Moreover, the new Photo Filter ("Image Filter") (Image>Adjustments>Photo Filter) is similar to the standard photographic lens filter, including color, warm and cold filters; in addition, you can use the Adobe color picker to choose A custom filter color.

Filter Gallery lets you apply multiple filters quickly and easily

Quick skill

16-bit editing: Many of the features in previous versions of Photoshop, including several tools, layer options, and most filters, can only edit images of 8 bits or less per color. In Photoshop CS, all core features can edit 16-bit images, which display more data for a richer, more realistic image.

Column-shaped palette: The new drunk-shaped palette (Window>Histogram) displays the hue and color information of an image or selected portion of the image, plus several options for controlling the displayed information. Knowing the tonal characteristics of an image will help you determine if the tonal correction is just right.

Video images: Digital video editors can now create images with non-square pixels in Photoshop (video formats such as rectangular pixels for NTSC and PAL). You can enter these images into the video editor, and the New document dialog pre-sets a pop-up menu of standard video sizes and a specified pixel ratio.

Illustrator CS

Adobe brings 3D features to Illustrator

3D tool

  1. Protruding and beveling We start with a simple rectangular rotation for a good visual stereo. You can use the 3D Exlrude&Bevel options dialog to control how objects you manipulate are displayed. Add the last stroke to the stereo work, we apply the template to the desktop through the Map Art dialog. Input and output ports are connected to other objects or elements that enable you to enter and output text in the font path.

  2.  Rotating Using an oven and a gorgeous cake bag, you can't make a fancy cake, but you can do it with the new features of Illustrator.

  3. Rotate Let's start with a monotonous rectangular text layout and then use the Rotate feature to make it look like it fades into the distance.

Create a three-dimensional object

When creating 3D art graphics, if your work looks flat, then the new 3D features of Illustrator CS will help you. It offers three 3D effects - "Extrude & Bevel", "Revolev", "Rotate" - making any 2D object or text easily converted into a 3D visual shape.

Highlight and bevel (Extrude & Bevel)

The highlight and bevel feature allows an object to expand its space backwards, allowing it to produce a 3D visual effect - more similar to stereo and similar stereo effects. First draw a shape with any drawing tool (the text object is also available). After selecting the object, select (Effect>3D>Extrude & bevel). Check the Prevlew checkbox and adjust the position, angle of view and depth of your 3D object. If you want to make a graphic look crystal, select the Bevel style and specify Height. If you click the More Options button, you can achieve highlighting and dimming control. Click on the Map Art button to artistically modify your 3D graphics.

If you want to map an Illustrator CS object on the surface or import an image, you must first add it to the Symbols symbol library. In addition, you cannot use a linked image as a specimen. You must embed the image in the document before you can put it in the specimen library. To do that, you must make the Link checkbox that exists in the Pace dialog box unselected, import the image into Illustrator CS or select Embed (embedded) image in the pop-up menu of the Links panel after importing the image. .

Revolve

The tilt feature is useful when creating a 3D graphic -- such as a can and a bottle -- by rotating the graphic on one axis. First draw a graphic with a drawing tool, select the graphic you want to rotate, and select (Effect>3D>Revolve). Click the Preview checkbox to specify the location. Click Map Art to assign a specimen to the surface.

Rotate

The rotation feature allows you to project a 2D object to achieve 3D vision, such as the Star Wars style fade text. To use the rotation feature, select a text object, an imported image, or a graphic you have drawn, and select (Effect>3D>Revolve). Use this controller to create the visual effects you want.

Making wavy text

Adobe has enhanced Illustrator CS path text capabilities, with a new Type On A Path Options option box and several special effects fonts. To wave text along a path, create a new object with any drawing tool. Then select the text path tool (a T-shaped icon) under the text tool in the box and click anywhere on the edge of the object. Enter the text, highlight it, and format it using Character ("character" and Paragraph).

To modify the display of the font and the location of its relative path, select (Type>Type On A Path>Type On A Path Options.) Each of the five options in the Effect menu (eg, Rainbow and Stair Step) will be generated. Different visual effects, and the options in the Aling To Path menu allow you to move text up and down relative to the path.

With the selection tool (solid arrow icon), you can drag the front, middle and end of a font path to the front, middle and end of the control point, or use the text tool. Hit and drag the control points of the text to change the font through the path.

Learning smear

Even if our vision is not good and affected by the computer, we can usually find a vector EPS map from 1 mile away. That's because they're usually hard-edged, and it's easier for artists to draw hard-looking graphics with pencils or brushes than loose, fluctuating graphics. Illustrator's new smear effect allows you to make objects as artistic as the painter's hand-painted with a pen or brush. To apply a rendering effect, select (Effect>stylize>Scribble). The Scribble Opltions dialog provides several controls that let you modify and extend this effect. The best way to apply control in the Scribble Opfions dialog is to check the Preview checkbox. This setting solves the problem.

Smudge effects Themes and variations, here we have made two different smear effects on the original image.

Quick skill

Templates: Illustrator CS comes with 200 built-in templates, including sales brochures and stationery tools. Every time you open a template (File>New From Template), you can also open a new, untitled document via (Illustrator>Templates folder), and you can save it. You can also save an Illustrator CS document as a template.

Visual kerning, visual blanks: Arrange the optical detection characters and adjust the spacing between them to achieve a suitable position for coordination with surrounding text. To apply it, first select the text area and then select Optical on the pop-up spacing icon in the Character panel. In the blank arrangement of the optical, adjust the position of the punctuation and text characters according to the left and right margins, so that the margins are displayed neatly. Select (Type>Optical Margin Alignment) to apply a visual blank arrangement to the selected text object.

Support for OpenType fonts: The Glyphs panel (Type>Glyphs) can display both OpenType and non-OpenType fonts, and you can double-click on them to insert fonts (beautiful characters). Through the pop-up menu of the OpenType panel (Window>Type>OpenType), you can set Illustrator to automatically replace standard characters with the OpenType replacement option.

WYSIWYG font menu: Illustrator CS's Font menu displays font names and font types with actual fonts and icons -- TrueType, PostScript, or OpenType.
