According to reports, the original author of the embroidery "Mountains and Rivers" is Chen Shaomei, a famous modern painter in Tianjin, this work won the gold medal of the "China Arts and Crafts Hundred Flowers Award" at the 10th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Expo Winter Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 2014.

In order to present the 2500th anniversary of Yangzhou, Zhang Muli, the sixth generation of Yangzhou Zhangpai paper-cutting and the provincial master of arts and crafts, innovated on the basis of tradition and produced Yangzhou's first set of color ladies paper-cut "Palace Fan Beauty Picture".
Zhang Muli told reporters that the traditional black and white paper-cutting is relatively monotonous, "Since 2014, I have started the research of color paper-cutting, whether it is the design of the first draft or the final production has taken a lot of my time." "
Different from the monotonous colors of traditional paper-cutting, on the black palace fan surface she designed, each lady paper-cut is covered with several colors, these beauties or teasing birds, or hairpins, or reading, or writing, movement and stillness are suitable.
"Before coming to France, I deliberately created two more on the basis of the original four cutouts." Zhang Muli told reporters.
