(3) Choose a laser die cut or hand die cut according to the quality requirements of the product. The laser die-cut version adopts a laser cutting machine to cut the plate material with high precision, and the dimensional error is 0.1 mm, while the die size of the hand-cut die plate usually reaches 0.2 mm. Although the price of the laser die-cut version is slightly higher, it seems that the quality of the products it produces is high and thus it is also an ideal value for money.
(4) For products with extremely high product quality requirements, a die-cut version should be made after calculating the paper deformation rate. Some products after printing and other surface treatment (such as film, coating, etc.), the size of the product will change, in severe cases, the deformation of the paper can reach 5mm. Therefore, it is necessary to first calculate the paper deformation rate and then make a die-cut version, so as to ensure the product's die-cutting accuracy.
5 printing, coating, laminating process control
(1) For products whose surface needs to be UV-treated, ordinary matte inks should be used for printing, and little or no ink additives (ink auxiliaries, light dilators, and rewinders, etc.) should be added. In order to ensure the firm adhesion of the UV light oil layer, the UV light oil layer and the ink layer are not broken when the die-cutting is indented, and the paper edge or the indentation is exposed to paper color, thereby seriously affecting the boxing effect.
(2) For the products that need to be covered, the additives should also be used as little as possible during printing to reduce the amount of powder to be sprayed. This can prevent foaming at the die-cutting indentation caused by the lack of lamination.
(3) The rules of the same batch of printing products must be strictly identical, otherwise it will affect the cutting rules, leading to die-cutting run-outs and deviations from box-patterns.
6 Temperature and humidity control in the production process
If the product can not maintain a certain temperature and humidity in the production process, then it is easy to make paper deformation, warping or swelling, which will certainly affect the quality of die-cutting. Therefore, we must control the temperature and humidity, generally need to do the following: Before printing, the original paper will be transported to the printing workshop or the same temperature and humidity with the printing room and placed more than 24 hours, so that the paper reaches the moisture content suitable for printing; Wound the shrink film in time to moisturize. This is also the case when performing other processes before die cutting.
