The solvent in the solvent ink is divided into fast drying, medium drying and slow drying. Under what circumstances are these types used?

The drying rate of the solvent is determined by the vaporization rate of the solvent itself, and the vaporization rate is determined by their own boiling points.
Fast drying solvent: the boiling point is generally 100 ° C 150 ° C
Medium dry solvent: the boiling point is generally 150 ° C 200 ° C
Slow drying solvent: the boiling point is generally above 200 ° C
Various solvents are not a single type of solvent, they are all mixed by several solvents to control the drying speed of the ink. Therefore, the automatic screen printing machine is generally used with quick-drying solvent; while manual silk screen printing and slow dry solvent are used under high temperature and low humidity; and medium dry solvent is used in air conditioning and humidity control environment. If the wrong solvent is used, it will cause blocking and netting; if the material is eroded and cracked, it is very important to choose an appropriate solvent.
In screen printing, why do different inks of different models, different applications and different suppliers use different solvents? What happens when the solvent is used incorrectly?
Since no ink is omnipotent, there are many kinds of materials for the substrate. Therefore, when the ink is selected, the binder resin in the ink must be compatible with the material of the substrate (workpiece), otherwise the adhesion will be affected due to the ink. Solvents have a dissolution effect on the substrate, so the ink can be bonded to the workpiece.
Because the resin in the ink is different, the solvent is different. If it is used or misused, the following will occur:
(1) will affect the color of the ink
(2) It will affect the comprehensive performance of the ink, such as: decreased adhesion, poor solvent resistance, and poor screenability.
(3) Seriously agglomerates the ink and causes production to be scrapped.
Therefore, all kinds of inks have their own special solvents, which cannot be added and added.
