First, the characteristics of European ink:
1. European ink pigment particles are fine (less than 5μm), with less impurities, and the four primary colors (K, M, C, Y) have higher transparency. The printing effect of the dot image is vivid and detailed, and the layers are rich. The printing effect of the solid color block is bright and bright. Smooth, good color and light resistance.
2, European ink ink, transferability is good, no ink, water and ink balance is short, water supply is low, ink is less, suitable for high-speed machine printing, color stability.
3, the machine does not crust for a long time, it is good for suppressing paper hair removal and powder removal, and the paper has wide adaptability. During the printing process, the number of shutdown cleanings is reduced, saving time, labor, paper, and printing smoothly.
4, using high-quality raw materials and advanced ink production process, quality and stability. Strictly abide by the safety and environmental protection standards of European and American related industries, European plant-based environmentally friendly formula, safe and secure.
Second, the use of European ink:
1. It takes 2 to 5 minutes to check the ratio of the water tank dampening solution and the water quality change when the shift is completed. The general dampening liquid mixing standard is: the alcohol concentration is 8-15%, the pH value is about 5.0-5.5, and the electrical conductivity is between 800-1300?S/cm. The water tank should be opened with a cooling circulation system. The temperature of the dampening solution should be controlled at about 8~12 °C, and the dampening solution should be cleaned regularly. Before printing, it can be adjusted according to the ink layer, plate, paper, etc. of the printed image to ensure the quality, safety and efficiency of printing production.
2. Due to the good transferability of ink in Europe, the ink and ink balance is rapid. Therefore, the amount of water and ink should not be large when coloring. It should be shallow to deep. First, refer to the reduction of the image of the dot, and then refer to the saturation density of the solid color block. The balance is to achieve a clear and smooth layout. In addition, the printed surface is not dirty, and the ink supply balance is quickly reached with the minimum amount of water supply and ink supply.
3. Adjust the appropriate printing pressure according to the thickness of the paper. The pressure is based on the premise that the printed product has strong dot, clear text, bright color and light and dark, and the smaller the better.
4. The temperature of the printing workshop is controlled at 15~25°C, and the relative humidity is controlled at 40~50%, which is beneficial to the accuracy of overprinting and the stability of printing.
5. If the paper is damp, the ink layer is thicker, or the special paper is printed to affect the drying speed, the appropriate powder and powder should be selected, and the printed product should not be stacked too high, such as special slow-drying paper can be added. An appropriate amount (2% to 3%) of the oxidizing active desiccant enhances the fast drying speed.
Third, the use of European inks:
After entering the domestic market, European inks are mostly close to the hue of Asian inks (Japan Toyo, DIC, etc.), but the biggest difference between the two is ink. European ink pigment particles are fine, high in purity, good in fluidity and high in color transparency. Therefore, the printed dots are vivid and detailed, and the layering is strong. The four-color printing on the ground also tends to be bright and vivid. Domestic inks generally have coarser particles, more impurities, poor fluidity, and easy to stack ink. Therefore, the color brightness is low, the hiding power is strong, the printed dots are not smooth, the small dots are easy to lose, and the layering is not strong. The color of the printing is darker and thicker. Because of the difference in ink between the two, if you use European ink to print with the original domestic ink, there will be some differences, especially the color effect of the four-color printing on the ground, this must communicate with the customer.
In order to achieve the same depth as the sample, some printers generally achieve a saturation of the solid color block by thickening the ink layer. In fact, this is not the best method, because the effect of printing will cause the dot to be deepened, the level is not clear, affecting the printing effect of the entire layout, and it is also prone to large water, unstable color and poor drying.
In response to the above, we will make the following recommendations:
1. Make in-depth communication with the customer, let the customer know the effect printed by the two inks, and let the customer choose a good solution.
2. If the printing density of the manuscript exceeds the printing standard density (Y: 1.10, M: 1.40, C: 1.40, B: 1.80), it is recommended that the customer use four-color printing in the field to change the spot color or use the ink with a more concentrated color to obtain the ink. Lively dot images and saturated, vivid field effects.
3. If there are four colors in the field and shallow network, the output of the dot can be adjusted slightly by the pre-press document processing or the printing process.
