The book printing products adopting the wireless adhesive binding process, due to the great pressure of the paper press, the wrinkles of the spine after the cutting are very strong, and there are partial dents and poor flatness, which seriously affects the product quality.
In view of the above drawbacks, if the following technological measures are taken, the curling of the spine can be better avoided.
1. Compact the book block. If the book block is not pressed and compacted, the backing rubber is brushed. Under the strong punching of the paper cutter press during the trimming, the back of the book will be wrinkled due to compression deformation. Therefore, after the compacted book core, after the backing glue (such as PVA polyvinyl alcohol synthetic resin glue), due to the book back suction glue will produce a certain amount of expansion, so that the spine thickening and imaginary, it should be used first The book machine is compacted, and then the cover is wrapped on the machine, so that the spine is tighter to prevent wrinkles on the back of the book caused by compression deformation.
2, the stapled hair should be padded and cut so that the paper press does not press the spine, avoiding the curling of the spine and tightening. Padding is to place a waste book on top of each stack of books, the width is about 8mm smaller than the size of the book to be cut. If the finished product specification of the book is 146mm×208mm, the waste specification for the pad should be 138×208mm. When cutting the head or the foot of the book, the pad should be aligned with the cut of the whole stack, so that the pad This book does not touch the spine, and the spine of the paper press is not pressed when it is working. After cutting, the back of the book can achieve a smooth and beautiful effect.
