A Shanghai-made P40 type rotary offset printing machine, after power-on, there is no indication that the programmable controller (PLC) part of the electric box has no indication, all external display of the whole machine is completely absent, and the operation is invalid.

This machine PLC adopts Japan Mitsubishi FX2N-4DA type programmer, first test PLC220V power supply voltage (L, N end), the value is normal. Then turn on the PLC to check if the internal insurance is blown, and the insurance is in good condition. Because there is no PLC detailed information, it is impossible to determine whether there is a problem with the PLC internal circuit or the peripheral line.

Since the peripheral circuit and the main electrical box are plugged, the operator uses the elimination method to disconnect all the peripheral circuits (air plugs P1, P2A, P3A) except the main motor in the electrical box, and then connect the debugging board. The transfer switch is dialed to the debug file. After the power-on test, the whole machine returned to normal, indicating that the PLC is in good condition, so it is judged that the fault is in the peripheral line connected by the three plugs. Then turn the transfer switch to the running gear, plug in P3A, P2A, P1 and power-on test respectively. As a result, when the P1 is connected, the PLC indicates no, and it can be determined that the fault is in the peripheral circuit connected to P1 (folding part). After careful inspection of this part, it was found that the line IN24 was exposed to ground. After the exposed joint is wrapped, the power is tested and the fault is removed and returned to normal.
