1, the character is wrong or missing

2, image coloring problem

3, binding problem

4, the file is incomplete or can not work

5. The size of EPS and TIFF files is too large in the whole page layout program.

6, the small color area is not converted to the correct color mode

7, file format (may cause output confusion)

8, TIFF file does not change from red, green and blue mode to yellow and black four color mode

9, insufficient bleeding

10. The original used storage medium has not been formatted.

Whether you have encountered any of the above problems, the following are some of the situations that Anmei Mall has summarized for you.

1. Is it indicated the characters used in the printing?

The name, version, number, and font of all characters (True Type or PostScript) should be indicated. You must be the real character selected from the character menu (such as Garamond Bold) instead of selecting one from the style menu. The style of the body. At the same time, you should consult the prepress service provider or printer for the requirements of the character file. In some RIPs, mutual interference between True Type and Type 1 Post s phrpt characters causes character substitution and string bits.

2, has all the colors been converted from red, green and blue to yellow and black

If the image is not converted to a yellow-black pattern in your electronic file, the printed image may be a black-and-white image or an unacceptable color cast. Remember to name all colors in the file, and the color of the images designed and introduced in the image processing program should also ensure that the same name is used exactly.

Unless you plan to print small patches or common colors with spot colors, be sure to use the yellow black setting mode for all colors. The small patch area should also convert the color mode as long as the full page layout program allows it.

3, whether it can be used for bleeding printing when needed

Anmei Mall found that all bleeding prints should be extended to the edge of the page as required by the printer. It is very convenient to implement image bleeding in the entire page layout process, but it is relatively time consuming and expensive to print.

4. Has the original large proof of the document been considered?

A black and white laser print or color proof of the final document should be delivered. If the document is delivered to the print service provider via a telephone line and modem, you should be sure to fax the laser print sample or pass the proof sheet. Make sure the proofs are obtained from the same electronic file that was passed to the print service provider or printer.

If the page is too large to print the original large sample with the same actual size, be sure to mark the reduction on the proof. Color printing should print a color separation sample (in black and white) on a laser printer. In addition to providing color proofs to printers, color separation samples should be provided to ensure that each color separation sample is correctly labeled. Also check the color separation of the color separation sample and the color number of the color separation. If black and white synthetic proofs are provided, the parts printed in different colors should be clearly marked.

5. Is all the precautions marked?

Names, addresses and contact numbers should be clearly stated on the disk, portable media, print proofs and proofs. In short, there should be obvious labeling on all documents or media that are passed to the print service provider or printer. At the same time, the print service provider or printer should be sent a list of all the documents or media you have passed.
