Heidelberg Pusheng 102 laser imagesetter often has some faults during use. We have summarized some solutions for your reference.


Fault 1: During the film discharge process, the UPS power supply suddenly fails, causing the photo-discharge system to shut down abnormally, restarting the system, and the photo-receiving machine continues to alarm state, prompting 138 error. Solution: Open the Primesetter software, enter the Operating mode option in the Configuration menu, select the R&D mode mode, enter the password, and enter the Parameter edit interface. Enter punch in the query box to change the value of use punch parameter 1 to 0.0. The system restarts to run normally.


Fault 2: The output film density becomes smaller and smaller, and the film density cannot be achieved by changing the developer, the fixing solution, and adjusting the laser intensity on the imagesetter. Solution: This is mostly due to dust on individual components on the laser light path of the imagesetter. First, remove the right side panel, open the Velcro fastener on the film panel, move the optical frame to the far right, and clean all the mirrors and beamsplitters in the galvanometer, condenser, polarizer, and beam path. It should be noted that it must be carefully rubbed. If the force is too large, the position of the mirror will move, the laser path will change, and the position of the last scan of the laser beam will be deviated. After all the lenses have been wiped, carefully Check the lens for fibrous residue; the polarizer cannot be wiped with an alcohol cotton ball, otherwise it will cause damage.


Fault 3: The output film has a light blue water stagnation and a bar shape expansion, and the film fog is gradually increased from the middle to the sides. Solution: Since the laser imagesetter film contains an anti-halation layer, some of them will fall off during the fixing and washing process, thereby forming a pale blue water spot on the film base. An appropriate amount of hardener can be added to the fixer to remove it, and the wash tank should be kept clean. The fog of the film is a problem with the film itself, and it can be solved by replacing the film of another brand.
