First, the blanket must be washed to keep the surface clean


The principle of offset printing clearly shows whether the blanket can completely transfer the ink layer on the printing plate and transfer it evenly onto the paper surface. We know that in the high-speed printing process, due to the adhesiveness of the blanket and the "separation work" when the ink layer breaks, the surface of the blanket will inevitably accumulate impurities such as paper dust, fillers and pigments. When the printing surface is inferior in strength, the filler is often combined with the paper which is not strong; or the printing with the coarse-grained, relatively large pigment and the viscosity is unsuitable, the surface of the blanket is accumulated, which affects the normal wetting, and Affect the transfer of the ink layer, causing the vacancy of the imprint. Based on this situation, the blanket must be washed frequently in the printing to eliminate the accumulation layer on the surface to achieve uniform transfer of ink and transfer of the print. At this point, take a piece of tarpaulin on your right hand and rub a small amount of gasoline. First scrub the blanket to dissolve the dirt. Then use your left hand to dry the crepe and wipe off the dirt. If the accumulation layer on the blanket is thick, if it is not cleaned once, it can be wiped repeatedly with a petrol cloth until the dirt is completely removed, and then cleaned with a dry cloth. In order to ensure that the printed image just printed is complete and clear, it is best to apply a layer of talcum powder after the blanket is cleaned so that the solvent remaining on the surface is dried. In fact, cleaning the blanket is a meticulous work, both to be clean and neat, and to be careful to ensure the cleaning effect. The gasoline on the cloth can't be too much at once, so as not to cause dirt when it is squeezed to the machine. If the oil is too small, it will not dissolve the dirt and it will be difficult to clean. Therefore, when the dirty cloth on the blanket is cleaned with gasoline, the dry cloth is used to dry the stain, and the cleaning effect is good.


Third, the use and maintenance of blankets essentials


Offset printing equipment not only prints fine products, but also prints general products. It only needs to print paper with good paper and printing offset paper and white paper. Therefore, the use of two blankets in each case is effective for ensuring product quality. New blankets can be used for high-grade fine products, and old blankets for general products. If the downtime is a little longer, or the blanket must be cleaned before each shift. When dry, depending on the degree of fouling, thoroughly rub the surface of the blanket with pumice powder. For the temporary use of no blanket, after washing, apply a layer of talcum powder, then wrap it in black paper and place it in a cool place. Do not stress.
