First, the advantages of homemade curved printing machine

The curved printer itself is not a high-tech product. It is neither complicated nor esoteric. It has a little understanding of some mechanical braking principles, and everyone with rich experience in screen printing can take materials locally and make it homemade. Because the self-made curved printing device has no electrical device, it avoids the maintenance troubles caused by the circuit and gas path failure in use. Moreover, the self-made curved printing device is light in weight, low in cost, simple and flexible, and integrated. It not only changes the bulkiness, cost, single function, sluggishness and uniformity of traditional curved printing machines, but also caters to the particularity and diversification of modern curved substrates.

Second, what is the surface printing

As the name suggests, in order to achieve the purpose of beautification, decoration, embellishment, the surface structure or shape is not a flat surface, but a curved, arc, concave, convex shape of various materials, such as water cups, wine glasses, tea commonly used in our daily life. Screen printing of cylinders, ashtrays, various bottles, cylinders, and specific or unspecified positions on the surface of test tubes, smoke cups, and measuring instruments for chemical and medical tests may be referred to as "curved surface printing."

Third, the importance of scraper selection

The choice of squeegee is critical during surface printing (note: sometimes ignored by many screen printers), squeegee (also known as squeegee), specifically a squeeze on the "formed screen" A hand or machine tool pressed onto a substrate, usually consisting of a polyurethane strip having a thickness of 8 to 10 mm and a hardness of 60 to 80 Shores (Shore A) and a wooden or aluminum handle. Experienced screen printers know that the squeegee used in surface printing must have the "two high and four resistance" conditions, namely high elasticity, high hardness; chemical resistance, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, abrasion resistance . Especially in the case of color printing and printing of curved surface objects, the selection of the scraper should be more stressful. Only in this way can the effect be achieved with half the effort, and the practice proves the same.

Fourth, the main principle of the surface printer

We use a cylindrical object to illustrate that the cylindrical surface substrate is mostly printed with a bearing-type outer diameter four-point support rolling. The self-made curved printer is no exception, but two more devices than other curved printing machines. It is distinguished from the special "micro-assisted runner" and the probe-type "inner diameter telescopic runner" when it is used to print over-conventional or more tapered objects, as well as in the case of "belts".

1 special "micro-assisted runner" is printed for objects with a diameter of 0.8 ~ 2cm (such as craft chopsticks, ballpoint pen shell, brush pen, glass test tube, etc.);

2 probe type "inner diameter telescopic runner" is for objects with large taper and single-point support without four-point support, as well as the substrate with "belt" (such as ceramic teacup, enamel teacup, stainless steel fast food cup, etc.) ) specially designed. The device rotates lightly and smoothly, and can be freely adjusted according to the inner diameter of the substrate. It is a six-point support in the inner cavity, and the telescopic adjustable rotary rolling can complete the printing. In the case of operational printing at the time of official printing, the positional positioning of the workpiece is the same as that of a conventional curved printing machine.

Fifth, the working state of the surface printer

At present, the principle of motion of the surface printing machine is mostly frictional transmission type, that is, the "pressing" is carried out by the working of the doctor blade during the formal printing, and the "pressure" causes the font graphic or the specific pattern on the screen to be in "line" contact with the substrate. The state (that is, the "imprint line" we often say), the screen moves parallel to the front and drives the substrate to rotate. At this time, the blade is scraped, and the ink is transferred to complete the printing. It should be noted that: 1 the font or specific pattern in the forming screen before the official printing is not in contact with the substrate temporarily, leaving a mesh distance of 2 to 3 mm (that is, the gap); 2 well known, the screen printing plane object is printing. The operation is much easier than printing the surface, but the surface and the plane are not much different in the printing principle, but the process is slightly more difficult.

Sixth, the postscript

When the surface is printed, the style is more complicated and the process is more complicated. This requires the screen printing workers to have a solid screen printing foundation and rich practical experience. It is flexible and variable for different shapes of objects, and its corresponding printing methods or methods are used to assist. The surface printing work was successfully completed. As long as practitioners master the process principle of curved surface printing, constantly explore in practice, use their brains to understand, seek truth and innovation, and accumulate experience, they will be able to print beautiful images, words or graphics to meet the needs of customers. Requirements.
