In Word XP, when designing the binding line of the test paper, many teachers insert a text box on the left side of the test paper, change the direction of the text in it, then input the contents of the binding line, and finally insert the vertical line. The test paper template generated by this method is only suitable for single-sided printing papers, and for double-sided printing papers, this method cannot achieve accurate alignment of the front and back double-sided binding lines, even if it is manually adjusted, it is rather clumsy. . So is there a simpler implementation method? In fact, we can easily implement the different settings of the footer and header in the parity page. The following is the specific implementation steps of the method.
1. Run Word XP, execute the File/New command, and select the Template option to create a test paper template.
2. In the template file, execute “File/Page Setup”. In the “Paper Type” tab page, set the size of the test paper to 8 open paper. In the “Layout” tab page, click “Header and Footer”. "Different parity page" option is selected
3. In the menu bar, execute the "View/Header and Footer" command in sequence, and the interface will automatically switch to the editing state of the header and footer.
4. Move the mouse to the left of the page and click the Insert/Text Box command to insert a text box in the editing area (to ensure that the text box has no edges).
5. Change the direction in which the text is written, and then type what needs to appear within the gutter. After the input is completed, insert the vertical dotted line and close the header and footer to complete the design of the front gutter.
6. Execute the "Insert/Delimiter" command in the menu bar, and select the "Page Break" option in the subsequent interface (Figure 2), so that the gutter of the even page can be set.
7. Similarly, according to the design method of 3~5, the design of the reverse binding line of the test paper is completed.
8. Click the "File" menu item and execute the "Save" command from the drop-down menu to save the newly created test paper template. Delete the second page in the template, save the template again, then call the template to test the volume later, Word XP only opens a blank document.
At this point, we have completed the design task of the double-sided printing test paper gutter. If the designed test roll is printed and you find that the front and back gutters are not aligned, you can carefully adjust the position of the text box and the vertical dashed line until it is fully aligned.
