The CTP direct plate making machine mainly has four types: inner drum type, outer drum type, platform type and curve type. The most used ones are inner drum and outer drum type. Among these forms, the outer drum type gradually shows the mainstream trend; the type of plate material According to the plate base, it is divided into: metal plate and polyester plate. The metal plate is mainly aluminum plate, which has high printing durability and is suitable for long printing. Polyester plate is more suitable for short printing. According to the coating division, it can be divided into photosensitive resin plate and thermal plate. The former is suitable for commercial printing of medium and long plates, and the plate making speed is fast, while the latter can be processed under yellow light or ultraviolet light filtering, and the plate making quality is the best.
Loading method
Depending on the degree of automation, the mounting method can be divided into manual and automatic. The manual version of the machine is cheap, but generally requires a darkroom operation, so the efficiency is low; and the automatic version of the equipment, work efficiency, but the price is more expensive, generally more than $100,000 than the manual model . Moreover, when the automatic device is in the upper version, a full set of printing plates with release paper must be used. The surface of the plate has a layer of anti-glare film, so it can be operated in a bright room. In the upper plate, the film on the surface of the printing plate can be automatically peeled off by the feeder to allow the plate to participate in plate making.
The fixing method of the plate on the drum includes: full adsorption type and intermediate adsorption, and the first end is fixed by two kinds of clips. The full-adsorption type has no restrictions on the size of the plate, and the plate format used for the clip type must have a fixed size.
30% of CTP equipment is equipped with a punching device. Generally, the punching process is performed after exposure, which ensures the precise positioning of the printing plate on the printing machine, reduces the pre-press preparation time for the adjustment of the printing roller, improves the printing quality and overprints. ,positioning accuracy.
Printing size
The printing plates used by CTP machines generally have special large-format printing plates with a size of 66*84 inches according to the requirements of printing format and equipment; large-format printing plates with dimensions of 55*67 inches; medium-sized printing plates with dimensions of 41 inches. 32-inch, 22-inch three; small format printing plate, size less than 18 inches. The most used ones are medium and small.
