1 Solve the four-color imitation of spot colors
We know that cigarette pack printing is mostly based on large-area spot color printing. Therefore, the four-color proofing of cigarette packs needs to be solved first. In this regard, the author uses a deep background color main color 100% monochrome plus auxiliary color dot printing, shallow background dot overprinting to achieve, in this process need to minimize the monochrome composition. Due to the rapid color separation imaging, development output, and overprinting processes of digital presses, it is possible to achieve spot color computer color grading. For some of the more demanding colors in the field, we can use the double hit feature of the HP Indigo 5600 Digital Press to achieve a single color double print.

3Solving the "double eyelid" phenomenon caused by fine pattern printing
Although the HP Indigo 5600 digital printer has no paper transfer error, it will still cause a "double eyelid" phenomenon when the fine pattern is overprinted due to the mechanical error of the equipment. The figure shows the original design file for the very thin lines of the yankou mouth flower. If the design file is directly printed and printed, the coffee color will be separated into 100% M+100%Y+75%K, if the three-color original set The original, it is bound to appear mechanical registration error, resulting in the "double eyelid" phenomenon.

For this reason, the author uses the dark K alone as the original large version, M and Y as the shrink version, and then set K as the overprint to obtain the design file shown in FIG. 4 . Among them, the shrink size of M and Y is very critical. For example, the line width of the design file shown in the figure is 0.10mm. If a normal offset offset parameter of 0.12mm is used, lines cannot be printed. For this reason, the author conducted repeated verification of the abbreviated parameters, and finally found that the abbreviated parameter is 0.02 mm and the bilateral contraction is the best.
