CTCP is getting more and more attention


In recent years, the popularity of direct plate making technology (CTP and CTCP) has become an irresistible trend. They belong to the same technology of computer-to-plate technology, and the obvious difference is that the plates are different. For thermal CTP, the current market is very mature and stable, there are quite a few printing companies in use, and the number of uses is still expanding. For CTCP, due to the introduction of the market, so far, the usage rate is not as popular as CTP, but the degree of attention is getting higher and higher.


Liang Hongwei introduced the experience of the Chinese manufacturer's first use of CTCP. The first is the issue of the media. The printing plate is stable with the traditional exposure plate, but when the PS plate is placed on the CTCP machine, the speed is very slow, 8 to 10 sheets per hour; the flushed version is not clean. After comparison with the traditional PS version, it is found that the traditional PS version generally uses a traditional level of the drying machine to achieve 3 levels of whitening, and sometimes even requires 4 levels of whitening, and the CTCP laser power is not as good as the traditional printing machine, so CTCP In order to ensure the speed, the machine can only achieve level 1 whitening. But how to stabilize the level 1 whitening can not be dirty, the speed is fast? After they tried the Fuji PS version, the problem was solved, and 1% of the outlets were out, 99% of the outlets were not ambiguous, and the number was increased from 8 to 10 sheets per hour to 14 sheets.


Followed by the characteristics of the CTCP machine itself. Environmental printing technology is the leading direction


What is waterless printing? It is offset printing without using fountain solution. Waterless printing uses silicone repellent ink instead of the traditional dampening solution to remove ink, which saves a lot of adjustment time and reduces the waste of overprint paper. Secondly, its unique flat-gravure construction also has a better performance in controlling the dot enlargement and the fineness of imaging. Since waterless printing reduces the generation of various waste liquids in printing, it has been advocated by environmental protection.

The new era of original color printing


At present, the limitation of traditional printing in color is that the traditional four-color printing color gamut is relatively narrow, and the original tonal range cannot be completely reproduced. In addition, most of the design process is based on the RGB color gamut, and the traditional printing standard cannot be used. Meet the needs of customers.


How to achieve original color printing? Tian Junshan believes that the following conditions must be met: from prepress to printing to have effective color management and standardization of production environment; CTP and effective control using FMSCREEN printing to achieve high-density printing; understanding the color matching of ink and paper in the printing process, The most ideal concentration; with measurement tools, in addition to measuring density, also need to measure Lab/LCH/HSB spectrodensitometer and colorimeter; with ICCProfile software, such as PantoneHexachrom (6c), Hi-FiColor (7C) Multi-Color (Multicolor) Special color separation/production software. “When the thickness of the ink layer reaches a certain limit, the color of the ink begins to saturate and the density cannot rise any more. Color management system saves ink


How to improve printability? Wide color gamut printing will be widely used
