Procedure for inking the press
1. Repeatedly check the color in the ink container to verify that this ink is to be put into the color of the printing group.
2. Circulate the ink in the ink pump through the ink supply hose and flow back to the ink pump to remove the system air.
3. If you use an ink fountain, align the ink fountain and lock the pressing device. Make sure that the ink fountain does not rub against the ends of any rollers or the surface of the plate cylinder.
4. If the ink fountain is used for ink return, the ink fountain should be aligned and the pressing device should be locked. Make sure that the hose goes around all moving parts. When using water-based inks, the return hose must be immersed in the ink of the pump unit to a certain depth to help avoid foaming.
5. The ink supply hose of the ink pump is connected with the ink distribution system.
6. Put the ink pump into the distribution system.
7. After transporting the ink with the ink pump for a period of time, measure the viscosity (PH value and viscosity for water-based ink) value to ensure that the working parameters of the ink are correct. If the operating parameters of the ink are incorrect, the ink should be adjusted and checked again so that it meets the technical requirements before the start of the press.
