Usually high-precision printing uses laser imagesetter to output film film, while general precision printing uses laser printer to output sulfuric acid paper. Sulfuric acid paper output is very time-saving and economical, and is widely used by small and medium-sized printing houses. In order to ensure the quality of the plate making, the image (also referred to as the reverse film) output mode is generally used when outputting to sulfuric acid paper. The typesetting software commonly used in printing houses includes: PageMaker, CorelDraw, Wps2000, etc. These software can realize mirror output. Sometimes customers bring their own disks, and their documents are edited and generated in Word. Unfortunately, Word does not support mirrored output. In this case, most computer producers are reorganized into other software. This is a waste of time, and secondly, it is not always possible to discharge the exact same result. In the work practice, the author explores a set of simpler solutions, which are introduced to readers.
The method of output in Word:
Take Word2000 as an example. First open the document to be mirrored, press Ctrl+A to select all, press Ctrl+C to copy the document content to the clipboard, press Ctrl+N to create a new document, make the same page settings as the original document, and then Click the menu "Insert" / "Object", select the "Brush Picture" type and click "OK", the embedded drawing program window appears, press Ctrl+V to paste the contents of the clipboard, if prompted to expand the bitmap, single Click "Yes", then click "Image" / "Flip / Rotate", select the "Flip Horizontal" check box, click "OK", and finally click on the blank space outside the drawing window, the mirror is successful. Direct printing to sulfuric acid paper is an anti-word effect. Because Word2000 and drawing programs are products developed by Microsoft Corporation, they have very good compatibility, so the same format can be obtained by copying and pasting. It should be noted that the above operation is only valid for the first page of the Word document. If there are multiple pages, the first page should be deleted in turn and then divided.
Methods of output in other software:
To transfer Word content to other software, and to maintain the original layout format, consider transferring Word content in image format. To convert Word content into images, select the part you want to convert, press Ctrl+C to copy, click Edit/Select Paste, select Picture in the Form list box, and click OK. ", that is, insert the original selection in the form of a picture. Convert Word content into images, and only convert one page at a time. If there are multiple pages, you should do it in multiple steps.
After converting the image, copy the image to the clipboard, and in the other software, you can get the image in the clipboard by pasting. For example, in PhotoShop6.0, the Word document is output by mirroring the method. The method is as follows: convert the first page of the Word document into a picture and copy it to the clipboard, press Ctrl+N in PhotoShop to create a new image, and the data in the "New" dialog box. It is automatically given by PhotoShop according to the clipboard. You can click “OK” without changing it. Then press Ctrl+V to paste, and the resulting image is exactly the same as the original Word document content and layout format. Click Edit / Transform / Flip Horizontal and the image will be mirrored successfully. The final output is fine.
The author also found that the following method is used in CorelDraw, but the result is not ideal, mainly because the right side of the text cannot be aligned or partially displayed. In Wps2000, there are a few cases that are unsatisfactory, and the problem is more in the table. Therefore, if you want to use Word layout content in CorelDraw, Wps2000, the best way is to save the Word image as an image file in PhotoShop according to the above method, and then import the image file in CorelDraw.
Master the above methods, I believe that when you come across the customer's own Word document, you can use it flexibly without sighing. However, I think that even Wps2000 has a reverse output function, and Word is the most famous office typesetting software in the world.
