Question: Please explain in detail what is the difference between FM and AM in the printing process. What is its hardware and software?
Answer: In fact, I have received a lot of questions on this issue. In the past two or three years, many people are very concerned about the special process that the FM network needs. Then I can tell you very responsibly here, there is no special process in the FM network. The only thing that should be paid attention to in the FM network is two words: stability. This stability depends on our printing equipment and depends on the state of the entire press. There are also our consumables, blankets, inks and fountain solutions. Carry out a standardized management of these things every day. This is a key place for the FM network to be competent for printing.
Supplement: Mainly stable, we provide you with standard tools. As long as you are stable, we can do all kinds of standardized production, but the premise of standardization is stability. In fact, the biggest problem in China is stability.
Supplement: Now there is a misunderstanding about the FM network, that is, offset printing can output the FM network, but why the conventional printing process goes to offset printing, often the FM network can not be applied. The reason is that everyone does not understand the standard of traditional printing, I am engaged in standards, the standard stipulates: 25 micron diameter dots should be transferred to the printing plate, the diameter of the mesh below 25 microns is not guaranteed, and as far as I know, Many FM networks have a dot diameter of less than 25 microns or even ten microns. Under such circumstances, the traditional printing plate will disappear, so many of these conventional film-printings are impossible. This way CTP is pushed to the front end. If you don't have CTP technology, then you can hardly use the FM network.
