What is bleeding?
Bleeding refers to the pattern of increasing the outer size of the product, adding some extension of the pattern at the cutting position, and specially giving each production process its use within its process tolerance, so as to avoid the finished product after cutting to expose the white edge or cut to the content.
When printing, the cutting position is not very accurate because the tools used to cut the printed matter are mechanical tools. In order to solve the problem of unintended colors on the edges of printed materials due to inaccurate cropping, designers generally add 2-4 mm reserved positions around the cropping position of the picture to "bleed" to ensure the consistency of the finished effect.
Bleeding is not always 3mm, and different products should be treated separately.
· Gel-bound books must be made white on the back of Cover 2 and Seal 3 and 5mm on the left and right of the back, and make 3mm of bleeding;
· There is no blood on the midline of the riding nail;
· The cover and back cover of the iron ring and the adhesive strip must be surrounded by 3mm bleeding;
· Text hardcover: the width must be added to the finished product size of the inner core on the basis of 3mm, the height is unchanged on the basis of the finished product size of the inner core, the back must be added on the basis of the thickness of the inner core must be made 5mm, the soft back must be made 10mm, and the bleeding must be made 10mm~20mm;
· Iron ring in the hardcover: the width is added on the basis of the finished product size of the inner core, the height is unchanged on the basis of the finished product size of the inner core, the back is determined according to the thickness of the inner core (consult the post-press service department), the soft back must be done 6mm, and the bleeding must be done 10mm~20mm;
· The iron ring is hardcover outside: the width must be added 6mm on the basis of the finished product size of the inner core, the height must remain unchanged on the basis of the finished product size of the inner core, and the bleeding must be 10mm~20mm.
