The correct adjustment of the various components of the printing press has a direct relationship with the normal operation of the printing equipment and the quality of the printing. Let's talk about personal experience with the use of the mesh transfer roller.

The function of the anilox roller is to continuously accept the ink layer from the surface of the ink fountain roller and transfer it to the next-stage ink transfer roller, which is an important part of the ink supply system of the printing press. Whether the adjustment of this link is accurate or not depends on whether the adjustment range of the printing ink supply can meet the needs of the adjustment operation.

In actual operation, the operator sometimes has too much ink in the print, and needs to reduce the amount of ink, but slightly reduces the amount of ink, and immediately there is a shortage of ink. This is because the gap between the anilox roller and the ink fountain roller is too small to adjust the space too small, only to achieve the two states of ink discharge and no ink, lacking a gradual adjustable range. Without such a gradual adjustable range, it is impossible to adjust the amount of ink according to the actual needs of the print.

A certain gap should be maintained between the anilox roller and the ink fountain roller to maintain such a gap, so that there is a transition space between the ink fountain roller and the anilox roller which is filled with ink after the ink is discharged, so that it can be freely The ink supply amount of the ink fountain roller to the anilox roller is changed by the ink key.

The gap between the anilox roller and the ink fountain roller is too small, causing abnormal wear on the surfaces of the two rollers. When the equipment is in normal operation, the surface speeds of the anilox roller and the ink fountain roller are very different. If the two rollers come into contact and cause friction, the damage is unavoidable. To avoid such failures, only the gap between the anilox roller and the ink fountain roller is often checked to ensure that the gap between the rollers is within a certain range.

The anilox roller is also a metering transfer roller. The amount of ink that the anilox roller can transfer is mainly determined by the number of mesh lines (the number of mesh arrays per inch length) and the mesh ink transfer volume (cell volume). It also has a very important influence on the ink transfer performance of the anilox roll. In general, in the case where the thixotropy of the ink is stable, the higher the number of lines of the anilox roller, the smaller the amount of ink transferred, and vice versa. In addition, the number of lines of the anilox roller also determines its own range of application. In general, when printing large-area solid color patches or images that are not too high, a low-line anilox roller can be considered to ensure sufficient ink supply. On the contrary, when printing fine images or small characters and lines, an aerated roller with a relatively high number of lines should be used to prevent the gradation of the tonal value due to the small dots in the high-light area being immersed in the ink holes, or Very thin lines become thicker.
