The uniformity of the paper not only affects the various properties of the paper, but also has a direct impact on the printing quality. The serious unevenness of the paper causes the paper surface to be wrapped into a "bubble yarn" shape, which inevitably causes quality problems due to poor flatness in printing. Generally, the paper with poor uniformity is unevenly transmitted when viewed from the light source, and even has a "cloud flower" shape. This kind of poorly-formed paper has a smoother surface smoothness, and the tightness is not uniform. The acceptance and absorption of the ink will cause great unevenness. Such unevenness will inevitably disturb the printed image. Uniformity reduces the quality of the print.

In the field of printed matter, slight unevenness sometimes occurs. This unevenness is mostly uneven in concentration, but also uneven in gloss. The main cause of this unevenness is the uneven absorption of ink by the paper. This absorption characteristic is closely related to the uniformity of the paper; the paper with poor uniformity has uneven distribution of fiber distribution, and the difference in tightness is also obvious, so the absorption and absorption speed of the ink will be different, so It is easy to produce unevenness in density and gloss on the printing surface.

Similarly, the base paper formation of the coated paper also has an effect on the quality of the printed matter. For coated paper, the part that directly absorbs the ink is the coating layer, but when the uniformity of the base paper is poor, it will cause unevenness of the penetration of the adhesive in the coating into the base paper layer, thus naturally causing the coating layer to absorb the ink. The unevenness is gone. In addition, the poor uniformity of the base paper may also cause unevenness of the coating during the coating process, especially the uniformity of the coating during the coating of the blade has a great correlation with the uniformity of the base paper, so the unevenness of the base paper Sexuality often causes the coating layer to absorb ink unevenness.

Other defects and defects on the surface of the paper, such as folding, dirty spots, wrinkles, dust, wet spots, etc., are self-evident, and will not be repeated here.
