Flexographic printing is a way of letterpress printing, which has been widely used in the United States and some European countries. In China's printing industry, flexographic printing is still in its infancy. However, in recent years, flexographic printing has shown unique advantages in the field of packaging and printing in China, and has made great progress. At present, more than 300 flexographic printing production lines have been introduced in China, and its production methods have been accepted by more and more people in the packaging and printing industry in China.
Since the introduction of the first flexographic printing production line in 1992, Shanghai People's Printing Eight Factory has owned five flexographic printing production lines of five colors, seven colors and nine colors. These flexographic printing presses are mainly used to print all kinds of stickers, coffee candy packaging, tea bags and a variety of alcohol labels. In the quality evaluation of the second national flexographic printing products in 2000, the “Darich Beer” and “Guizhou Moutai” wine labels of the Shanghai People’s Printing Eight Factory were awarded the Excellence Award. I have been working on flexographic printing labels for many years, and I have accumulated some experience in flexographic printing. However, in the actual operation process, there will be such problems and need to be solved.
For example, when we printed the product of Lipton Black Tea, because it was full-page printing, it used 63 grams of offset paper, which had a large amount of ink. It was dried in an oven during the printing process, and finally the finished product was found on both sides of the paper. All of them go up, which brings great inconvenience to customers in the packaging process. In order to solve this problem, I came up with a way to use water on the back of the paper before printing, so that after the finished product is printed, it will not go up so much, reducing the customer's packaging process. Loss in the middle.
Another example is when we print another product, “Joint Pain Relief Cream,” and we have encountered some problems. Originally, we used the Akzo 2000 water-based ink when printing this product, but in order to reduce the cost, we switched to the Peony brand water-based ink of Shanghai Ink Factory. Because the black ink viscosity of the Peony brand ink is not very stable, and the internal particles are thicker, the black version is easy to paste, and a flexographic plate can be replaced after a long time. This will not only reduce costs, but also the quality of the products. Later, we continued to communicate and research with the masters of the Shanghai Ink Factory, adjusting the composition of the ink, adding an appropriate amount of pH stabilizer during the printing process, so that the printed finished products were clear and the plate loss was also reduced.
When we printed the wine label, we used the method of cutting the sheet into a single sheet and then cutting it. However, the products that were cut out were not neatly arranged. The customers often reported that the labeling caused the machine to stop, which caused the customer to fail to produce normally. Go on. Later, after research and trial production, the method of on-line die-cutting was used to solve the problem of unsmooth punching, thus giving full play to the advantages of fast delivery of flexographic printing. The daily output is around 600,000 sheets, which increases production and saves costs.
Nowadays, we have introduced the flexographic printing machine in the Shanghai People's Printing Eight Factory for 9 years. In the actual printing production operation, we feel that we need to do the flexographic printing. The most important thing is to adjust the pressure of the printing plate before printing. Exquisite products.
In the process of using flexographic printing for many years, we have encountered various problems. After continuous practice and accumulated experience, we can objectively say that we have basically mastered the operation method of flexographic printing.
