Portable paper bags are widely used in the packaging of goods in the fields of clothing, food, footwear, gifts, tobacco and alcohol, and pharmaceuticals. At present, we can classify these heavily used hand-held paper bags into two categories.
One type is the popular plain paper bag for packaging. Most of these paper bags are made by rotary printing and automatic production lines. The materials used for making paper bags are mostly kraft paper. The paper bag specifications and patterns are relatively dull. The advantages are high production efficiency and suitable for mass production.
The other category is beautiful, delicate packaging and shopping bags. These paper bags are generally printed on a single sheet of paper and rely on manual or semi-automatic production. Kraft paper, coated paper, and cardboard are often selected as materials for processing paper bags. Most of them are used in high-end goods packaging, gift bags or advertising bags for various commercial activities. The feature is that any shape and specification of paper bags can be produced, but the process is more complicated and the production efficiency is low. This article specifically discusses the production process of portable paper bags for this type of paper bag.
Due to the use of functional or design requirements, the production process used in portable paper bags has some complexity, but the basic process can be summarized as follows:
Below we will discuss some process problems in the production process of portable paper bags in this process flow chart.
1. Design
The design and manufacture of paper bags is a key part of the entire paper bag production process. Most paper bags are an extension of corporate image and merchandising strategy, so the materials used, the craftsmanship and the form of performance are inseparable from the use and effectiveness of the paper bag. Kraft paper has good toughness, high strength and rough surface. The paper jam is good but the toughness is poor. Generally, it is required to use a surface film for paper bags. Coated paper has a certain degree of toughness, and the printing color is rich, but the stiffness is worse than the cardboard. Emphasis on the durability of the choice of kraft paper, the color and stiffness have to pay attention to the use of cardboard, and need to enrich the gorgeous pattern effect, people tend to prefer coated paper. In order to improve the taste and grade of the paper bag, the designers have a lot of brains on the finishing process. The flexible application of bronzing, UV, glazing, colorful, bump and flocking also makes the paper bag bright and three-dimensional, and the expression is more abundant. Of course, no matter what kind of finishing process is used, designers should consider the economical use of paper materials and the rationality of process design. For production and quality control, it is essential to create a complete and clear engineering drawing during design. In most cases, the product needs to be confirmed by proofing. The proofing in the design is not only the verification of the process, but also the basis for the confirmation of the customer and the specimen of the production.
2. Printing
Because it is often an extension of corporate image and merchandising advertising strategy, the portable paper bag has different printing design and general printed matter. The spot color and full version are more, the amount of ink used is large, and the color is bright. Therefore, its printing process is also different from other product requirements. The printing operator should pay special attention to the control of the ink balance, and the state of the equipment adjustment should be good. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the ink to lift the bar and the color difference of the color. Some printing companies use paper to save bills. When printing, pay attention to the printing position of the top and bottom and the printing position to ensure the size of the paper bag and the upper tongue and bottom. If the product needs to be coated after printing, it must also pay attention to controlling the thickness of the ink layer as much as possible, reducing the use of additives and minimizing the amount of powder used.
3. Laminating
The film is also called post-printing plastic, post-press silicone or post-printing film. It refers to the surface of the printed product covered with a transparent plastic film of 0.012~0.020mm thick to form a post-printing finishing of paper-plastic composite. The process is generally divided into two processes: pre-coating and instant coating. There are also high-light film and matt film depending on the material used. With the use of environmentally friendly aqueous solvents, the environmental protection of the laminating process has been further improved. The non-kraft paper bag mostly adopts the laminating process, mainly because the film can increase the color concentration, the product has good waterproof and avoidance performance, and the physical properties such as anti-aging, tear resistance and puncture resistance of the paper are generally improved, and the paper bag is fast and The strength is improved and the bearing capacity is significantly enhanced. Especially the use of matt film can give people a soft, high-grade, comfortable feeling.
The laminating process of the portable paper bag should pay attention to a few points: 1 select the appropriate laminating glue, especially the full version of the metal ink product and the need for subsequent concave and convex processing; 2 control the speed of the laminating and select the appropriate amount of glue according to the speed of the vehicle; 3 The products that need to be coated must be dried after printing to carry out the coating cooperation. The products that have just been coated must be placed for a period of time before cutting and embossing; 4 When the printing is too large, the film must be pre-coated. Powder removing operation; 5 Strengthening the inspection of the corona effect of the film. If you do not pay attention to the above control, it will easily lead to quality accidents such as stripping, foaming, and pitting of the film product, and even lead to batch scrapping.
4. Surface finishing
The surface finishing process of stamping, UV, glazing and the like is a widely used production process for portable paper bags. It greatly satisfies people's pursuit of exquisite and high-grade paper bags. In the production process, the key points in these process steps must also be controlled.
Compared with the printing gold, the bronzing process has strong metallic feeling, good consistency, bright color and rich three-dimensionality. The perfect bronzing effect depends on the organic coordination of the temperature, pressure and speed of the bronzing. During the bronzing operation, the following factors affecting the hot stamping effect should be paid attention to: 1 the surface flatness of the hot stamping product; 2 the surface postpress finishing process of the hot stamping product (filming, oiling, etc.); 3 the use of the anodized aluminum Printability; 4 hot stamping and hot stamping machine status. Hot stamping is a complicated process technology. It is possible to achieve satisfactory hot stamping effect by fully considering the influence of the above factors in the hot stamping process.
The glazing process of the surface mainly refers to UV glazing and ordinary glazing. The glazing process can maintain the good gloss effect of the printed product and improve the surface abrasion resistance of the printed product, especially the use of UV glazing and partial UV glazing in the paper bag processing process, so that the printing layer of the paper bag is thick and dense, and the gloss is thick. Rich and moist, the printing theme is outstanding and the perception is strong.
In addition, other printing and finishing processes such as bumps, colorful, flocking, etc. are also used to a certain extent in the process of carrying paper bags. The use of these processes not only improves the aesthetics and fashion of the paper bags, but also cultivates the user's taste of life. . We must also control the technical skills of these processes to make it a icing on the cake.
5. Die cutting
The die-cutting process is a process in which a die-cutting knife and an indentation knife are combined on the same template to perform die-cutting and indentation processing on a printed product by a die-cutting machine, which is also called a “rolling mark”. It is an important process in the production of paper bags. The quality of die cutting directly affects the quality of the paper bag and the efficiency of the hand paste.
The die-cutting process of the portable paper bag should pay attention to: 1 select the correct template. Since most paper bags are similar in shape and have little change in size, the first piece of the drawing must be reviewed during the operation to avoid the use of the wrong template. 2 Control the working pressure. It is required that there should be no burrs on the die-cutting edge, and the dark lines should be clearly folded, but the line should be avoided. Some paper bags do not show any problems in the dark line when die-cutting, but there will be cracks when the manual folding bag is pasted, so the process inspection should be repeated during the die-cutting process. 3 Considering the characteristics of the paper, along the direction of the silk of the paper, the paper is relatively folded, the molding pressure can be smaller, and perpendicular to the direction of the paper thread, the paper is more difficult to fold and the molding pressure can be locally increased. 4 cardboard paper has poor toughness. If there is no surface coating, special attention should be paid to the die-cutting effect.
6. Glue box
The paste process is the most special part of the production of portable paper bags. In addition to the auxiliary use of some semi-automatic equipment, it relies mainly on manual completion and is the least efficient part of the entire paper bag process. The demand for fine hand-made paper bags in developed countries is particularly large, because it cannot be completed through automated production lines, so it also provides business opportunities for the export of paper bags products of many printing and packaging companies in China.
The paste of the portable paper bag must first be the first process plan. 1 Select a suitable adhesive according to the material of the paper bag. Many paper bag factories are often lacking in process experience, and often the paper bag is falsely glued due to improper selection of adhesives. The export paper bag needs to be adapted to the possible high temperature of 50 to 60 ° C in the container and the low temperature of 20 to 30 ° C in the place of use, and the aging factor of the adhesive must also be considered. 2 The structure of the paper bag and the handle material and the connection form are various for the paper bag product. We need to explore the appropriate manual process according to the specific situation. Some need to install the hole before the paste, some use the hot melt adhesive to fix the hand in the paste process. The planning of these manual paste processes needs to be completed before mass production, and once the process is confirmed, we should also strengthen the detail control during the manual paste process to prevent spillage and avoid scratching the surface of the paper bag in production. Of course, the first piece of paper bag paste production before the production can be re-evaluated with reference to the process planning during proofing.
Hand-pasteed hand-made paper bags have basically been formed, and some hand-held paper bags have the last process—punching, stringing, etc.—to complete the final packaging of the hand-held paper bag.
Through the analysis of the above process of the portable paper bag, we know that the exquisite and fashionable hand-held paper bag is finally completed by a series of complicated processes. Any loss of a process link can lead to production quality accidents. The rigor of the process is a necessary condition to ensure the quality of the product. In the whole process, we need to strengthen the process management management and the implementation of the first-piece confirmation procedure before the production of each process, and at the same time, strictly follow the control in the production process. Any perfect process must rely on the rigorous execution of the process to ensure that the production of the carry-on paper bag is no exception.
