Q: Coreldraw file corruption can not be opened, what should I do?
A: The previously completed documents suddenly cannot be opened, or the Coreldraw file is damaged due to crashes, illegal operations, etc. This may be the biggest headache for designers.
Scenario 1. When you encounter a crash during the operation, don't worry, keep the current state unchanged.
The default setting in Coreldraw is to automatically back up once in 10 minutes. The file name is named after "file name_automatic backup". Find this file and rename it.
If you are a newbie, or your computer is not very stable, it is recommended not to turn off Coredraw's automatic backup, which is good.
Another: Minimize the current Coreldraw window, open a new Coreldraw program, try to open the current backup file.
If you can open it, forcibly end the window of the crash.
If you can't open it, first check if the object of the crash window can still be moved. If you can copy it, copy it quickly, paste it in a new window, and save the new file immediately after pasting.

4. Copy the file to the U disk and take it to other computers. Try it with Coreldraw. Regardless of the method used to open, save as soon as possible or output as other vector formats such as wmfeps, in case of any eventuality.
5. Create a blank document, click on the menu: View, Black and White Frame Mode, and then enter the Coreldraw file with the input command.
6. Open this file with the online version of Coreldraw13 in Coreldraw9 format, and save it as version 8 and then open it with 9 (I tried this many times and found that many files that could not be opened with Coreldraw9 can be opened with Coreldraw13. Save as 8.0 format and then use 9 to open, but after using 9 to open many text styles will be lost, no way, reset the style.
7. Try to open the damaged file with Illustrator. Generally, the damaged file AI can be opened, but there may be some deviations in it, but it is better than not being able to open it. After the AI is opened, it will be output as EPS or directly saved into ai format, then use Coreldraw. Import the file and save the Coredraw document again.
Suggestion: The Coreldraw file damage I have encountered is basically encountered during the editing of files larger than 150M, especially for the Coreldraw9 version. Therefore, it is recommended that you try not to edit files larger than 150M in Coreldraw9. It is really necessary to have such a large file. It is recommended to save the file as much as possible, reduce the size of the current file, or use other software.
Also, when editing large files, use style tools, interactive tool sets, color styles, and text styles as much as possible, especially text wrap tools, which can lead to file errors.
