Luminous
This part is done in silkscreen. After absorption, the luminosity averages 2-5 minutes. In general, luminous inks are divided into two categories, one is luminous oil, and the other is luminous powder that is prepared by households with varnish. "Night light powder is cheaper, but because of the user's own deployment, the weight control is difficult, too thin, and the luminosity is not enough. It is too thick, and it will increase the cost. It is not as convenient as the luminous oil."
The luminous ink used by the star is imported from Taiwan. "Basically, the quality of all imported luminescent inks is roughly the same, but the technology for preparing such inks in the Mainland is still not up to standard and the quality is uneven. Glitter

Local UV
It has become popular in recent years. There are currently three methods for producing local UV on the market:
a) Manufactured by an offset printing press equipped with UV equipment. "If the printing house itself is equipped with UV equipment, they can use the offset machine to print local UV printing in real time. However, the offset printing can not print thick UV ink, which does not show the UV texture. In addition, in the ordinary Ke The installation of UV equipment in the machine will also slow down the four-color production of the printing press. The printing speed of 10,000 prints per hour may be reduced to 5,000 per hour. So few people use this now. A method of making local UV."
b) Produced by resin plate. "This method is less expensive, but because of the elasticity of the resin plate, there are certain difficulties in registering."
c) Silk screen printing. Compared with the former two, this method shows a strong texture, easy to register, quick drying, and thickness can also be adjusted by technology. For example, Mr. Chen said: "There are a lot of thick UVs printed on the cover of many foreign novels. They are finished with silk screen." However, the cost of silk screen printing is slightly higher than that of offset and resin plates.
Printing local UV, the thickness control of the ink is the key. Printed too thick, there will be a common phenomenon of "fat oil", UV oil is easy to splash around, the printed lines will not be clear enough; printed too thin, the effect will be less obvious, so the process must use technology Control it. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to different printing materials, which must be matched with different types of UV inks. "For example, if you print on the paper, the ink will penetrate quickly. Therefore, you should choose a medium with a moderate concentration. When you apply a photo- or rubber-like surface, you must use different inks. So for UV inks, we have at least Three or four."
Many printers will also encounter UV inks that are not available. Mr. Chen explained that this is normal. "After the paper is irradiated with UV light, the temperature is still very high, and it may not be 100% dry in real time. If the printing factory does not care, the printed sheets that have not dried up will overlap, and they will stick together, which is difficult to understand. The situation is particularly prone to occur on prints with a large local UV area.” He suggested that after the UV lamps have been printed, they should be individually stored and left to be dried before being stacked.
Hot laser gold + silk screen overprintable scrub oil
The bronzing alone is a little monotonous, and the matte can't highlight the contrast effect, so Mr. Chen uses this new foreign technology. "We first burned the laser gold on the surface and then printed a layer of scrub oil on the hot stamping surface." He said that although the technology is costly, the effect can be very beautiful if it is mastered. "
In addition to silk screen printing, the overprintable effect can also be done in offset printing. However, because the adhesive tape of the offset machine has viscosity, it is easy to stick the bronzing surface, and since the bronzing surface does not absorb ink, the frosted oil printed on it will be difficult to dry. "With the advancement of printing technology, these two problems can be solved by using a more stable bronzing material and drying the ink with UV light."
Hot laser silver + offset black network
It is similar to the effect of silkscreen overprintable scrub oil, which is based on the offset printing method. Although the offset printing has the shortcomings of "difficult to dry and stick to the hot stamping surface", the effect is even more special. "In order to make this knife more metallic, we will first apply a layer of laser silver and then print a black net. Under the light, its texture will be more obvious."
Production process is regulated
Five special printing effects of luminous, glitter, frosting, bronzing, and local UV have their own characteristics and are irrelevant. However, when they are displayed on the same screen, they will be pulled each other. The relationship is intricate and can't be taken lightly. Mr. Chen pointed out that to print this special printed sheet, the following steps must be followed.
Hot gold and silver, then print four colors. (Note: The position of bronzing and silver must be accurate, otherwise the four-color film will be out, it will be difficult to remedy.)
Luminous. (Because the sign on the universal knife is to be registered, if the process is completed until the end, the previous steps will cause the pattern to shift and cannot be registered.)
Scrub. (The same is to solve the registration problem.)
Partial UV. (Involved in the process of the UV furnace, heat will be generated, which will easily deform the paper, so the arrangement will be completed later.)
Glitter. (The registration requirements are low, and slight deviations are not easy to detect, and have little effect on the overall composition.)
Fight against time and strive for perfection
