However, many color box die-cutting factories often have headaches for fluffing paper. Now the phenomenon of fluffing and dusting on the edge of the paper, the causes and treatment methods of the sub-board are for reference.


The first is paper. We usually use high-quality virgin paper. Because of the long fiber, it is generally less than the fluffing and dusting of recycled paper. Therefore, it is not easy to use hair and dust when using original paper. However, at this stage, most manufacturers need to reduce costs and promote environmental recycling awareness, and more and more people like to use recycled paper. As a result, there is an increasing demand for high-quality die-cut materials, thereby solving the problem of fluffing and dusting of the die-cut paper.


So how do you choose high quality materials to solve the problem? First, a high quality die cutter should be used. On the general high-grade die-cutting blade, we can see that there are still many holes and sputum in the magnifying glass, that is, it is not very slippery. This is one of the reasons for paper dust. In particular, the straight-cut die-cutting knife is sharp on the surface, but in fact it is particularly sturdy and has the greatest chance of dusting. There is now an Austrian BOHLER "Supreme Supreme Knife" on the market, using a special metal coating, like the wall to fill the stomata and sputum, smoothing and slipping, which greatly reduces the generation of paper dust, more suitable for Re-paper. The friction between the knife and the paper edge is reduced, that is, the wear on the machine is reduced, and the knife itself is more durable. This kind of knife is most suitable for long-cut products such as die-cutting kits, cosmetic boxes, food boxes, and cigarette cases, and requires dust-free products.


Another reason for the die-cutting of the color box is that the matching and installation of the die-cutting and the sponge strip are not standardized. Because the sponge glue should have enough hardness to compress the paper, let the die cutter cut the paper smoothly. Different types of sponge rubber with different hardness are used, and the position and height of the sponge are also very elegant. The standard installation and material selection are as follows.


The choice of rebound sponge rubber hardness:


1. The distance between the die cutters is <8mm, and the sponge glue should be 60° Shore hardness.

2. The distance between the die cutters is >8mm, and the sponge glue should be 25° (pit paper) or 35° (jam) Shore hardness.

3. If the distance between the die cutter and the wire is <10mm, the hardness of the arch sponge should be 70° Shore hardness; if it is >10mm, the hardness of the sponge glue is 35° Shore.

4. The die-cutting position of the die-cutting knife is 70° Shore using the arched rubber hard bottom, so that the protection joint is not broken.


Commonly used sponge glues are as follows:


35° breathable sponge: The compression ratio is 35%, the number of die-cutting is 1 million times, and the speed is 9000 times/hour for paper jam.

20° sealed arch sponge: The compression ratio is 50%, the number of die cutting is 250,000 times, and the speed is 7500 times/hour. It is used for corrugated paper.

60° solid strip: used for narrow positions such as die cutters where the distance is <8mm.

70° arch strip: used for die cutting position, and the distance between the knife and the cable is <10mm.


How to install the rebound sponge:


The sponge condition should be at least 1mm away from both sides of the die-cutting blade. It should not be installed close to the body. Otherwise, the sponge strip cannot expand in the direction of the blade after being pressed, and can only expand in the other direction, thus causing the paper to be pulled to both sides. The die-cutting knife will also cut the paper for the whole year in the future, and it has been broken by the sponge glue, which will cause fluff and paper dust. In addition, the sponge glue should be about 1.2mm higher than the blade, and be adjusted according to different hardness. If the hardness is >35° Shore, it should be <1.2mm. If the hardness is <35° Shore, it should be >1.2mm. In principle, the softer the sponge, the higher the height. The height of the sponge glue is correct, which makes the wood sample faster.


On the whole wooden mold, the amount, hardness and height of the sponge rubber should be balanced at each position, and sponge glue should be arranged on both sides of the balance knife.


In short, the height and hardness of all materials on the wood mold, die cutter, die cutter steel wire, sponge glue, and creasing line should be balanced. This not only has a good die-cutting effect, but also improves the speed of the automatic die-cutting machine.


Of course, the reason for the fluffing and dusting of the color box die-cutting is also related to the precision of the die-cutting machine, the flatness of the bottom steel plate and the pressure adjustment. If the pressure is increased, the knife is good, and even the sponge rubber is not top. use. Experts believe that the automatic die-cutting machine should be adjusted to about 80% when starting to adjust the pressure, and then use the bottom material to make up according to different positions, and then lock the pressure and then formally die-cut. This not only has a good die-cutting effect, but also has a high production speed and a high production efficiency.
