When using the offset printing machine to print PVC self-adhesive materials, the ink adhesion is small, and the back of the PVC self-adhesive material is always dirty.
The main reason for this problem is due to the poor absorption of ink by PVC. It is very difficult to achieve drying by the evaporation of the ink completely, especially when printing a large area of the ground, the drying time will exceed 48 hours, and the adhesion of the ink is small, and it is wiped off.
Since there are few special inks for printing PVC materials, it is necessary to use ordinary inks to print PVC self-adhesive materials. Through continuous practice and exploration, we have summed up a method that is both economical and practical, and interested colleagues may wish to give it a try.
Use bright and fast-drying ink, add 3% red dry oil, 5% of the Central Asian brand ink god, and replace the clear oil with varnish to make it suitable for printing. The addition of the ink god is effective in preventing the back surface from sticking, and the increase in the varnish improves the ink drying speed and the adhesion of the ink.
