Processing technology for envelope printing

The popularity of envelope printing has been very extensive, has gradually penetrated into catalog printing, magazine printing, brochure printing, poster printing, book printing, envelope printing, folder printing, manual printing, paper bag printing, calendar printing, notebook printing and other printing projects, let's roughly understand its processing technology. The post-press processing technology of the envelope has certain particularities, and according to the attributes of its products, it is divided into two parts: necessary processing technology and non-essential processing technology. 1. Non-essential processing technology This face-to-face process is mainly to increase the aesthetic section of the product, and the common processing technology is: 1. Lamination is a processing technology that coats the plastic film with an adhesive and bonds it together with the printed matter after heating and pressurization. After the printed matter is laminated, due to the extra layer of plastic film on the surface, it is smoother, and the firmness of gloss and color is also better, the graphic color is bright and full of three-dimensionality, and it also has the functions of waterproof, anti-fouling, wear-resistant, anti-bending and corrosion-resistant. 2. Varnishing The common process in high-grade printing is to coat (or spray, or print) a layer of colorless transparent paint on the surface of the printed matter, so as to form a thin and uniform transparent bright layer on the surface of the printed matter. It not only protects the printed matter, but also changes the foreign trade texture and visual effect of the printed matter. 3. The process of drumming is called concave and convex embossing, that is, through a gravure and a letterpress with a tight fit, the printed matter is clamped, and under a certain pressure, the surface of the printed matter is formed with a graphic or pattern similar to the letterpress, so that the printed matter has an obvious sense of relief. Second, the necessary processing technology because of the structure of the envelope has a significant feature, that is, there is a paper pocket for loading documents, the production of this part must go through the "folding" and "paste" two processes. 1. Folding Through mechanical action, the indentation that changes the material shape is reserved on the paper or other cutting paper to facilitate folding. 2. Paste is to bond the printed matter into a mold. According to the adhesive selected, the adhesive strength and the environmental constraints of use, the paste is divided into general and high-grade according to the quality. Combined with the above, we also need to note that generally speaking, these two processes need to be priced separately, and should not be ignored when calculating the cost of printed matter, and should not be forgotten. I hope it will be helpful to you after reading it.
