When the printing job uses a lower grade paper, the paper is expected to have a ruffled edge, a tight edge, a wrinkle, etc., the surface of the paper is rough, and the black filler floats on the paper surface, which is often caused by paper deformation during the printing process. Paper feeding failure, defective products due to paper defects, not only seriously affect the progress of the work, resulting in a great waste of raw materials, but also affect the quality of printed products:
After repeated practice and active exploration, we solved the problem of unstable quality of printed products when using low-grade printing paper by the following methods during the operation. That is, for the problem of uneven paper quality, paper is selected in three grades according to A, B, C (A: printing paper, B: proofing paper, C: other paper), and the selected A grade is used as the paper. The paper is printed on the machine and then processed from the following three aspects.
l For non-plastic deformation, increase the paper-drying time, and keep the temperature and humidity of the paper-drying workshop consistent with the temperature and humidity of the printing workshop. Store the paper in the printing workshop for 3 to 5 days before the machine, so that the paper contains The amount of water tends to balance, preventing the phenomenon of ghosting of images caused by the ruffle of the paper. This will maximize the physical properties of the paper and meet the requirements for printing on the machine.
2. For plastic deformation, in the state close to the ideal pressure, only the water is not inked, so that the paper on the machine is run twice in the press state of the offset printing machine, and the paper is reached by the pressure between the blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder. The maximum deformation, so that in the actual printing operation, the difference between the size of the printed image of the first color and the theoretical size and the difference of the same direction tend to be zero, and the stability of the overprinting precision of the printed product is enhanced.
3. For the deformation of the paper feeding, install a static elimination device on the paper feeding part and the delivery part of the offset printing machine to eliminate the static electricity of the paper and absorb the debris in the paper, and prevent the paper powder and the paper wool from adhering to the printing plate and the rubber. On the cloth, it is difficult to solve the problem such as sticky dirt, and the problem of paper feeding failure such as double sheets and smashing caused by adhesion of paper due to static electricity is excluded.
