At present, there are many tutorials on using Photoshop to do gouache, watercolor and oil painting effects. In order to reflect Photoshop's powerful image processing function, we will use Photoshop CS to process a peony picture and “draw” an antique Chinese painting.

1. Start Photoshop CS, open a picture of a peony, use the "lasso" and "magic wand" tools to extract the peony from the picture and delete other unrelated backgrounds.

2. Copy the "Peony" layer three times, and select the "Filter → Brush Stroke → Shadow Line" menu command for the first "Peony" layer, and make parameters in the "Shadow" dialog box according to the size of the material. Set; for the second "peony" layer, select the "Filter → Brush Stroke → Splash" menu command, according to the size of the material to set the parameters, the effect is as shown; for the third "peony" layer, select "filter Mirror → Stylize → Find Edges menu command, then select the “Image → Adjust → Decolorize” menu command to convert the layer to black and white; then apply the “Gaussian Blur” filter to the fourth “Peony” layer. Mirror, the blur radius depends on the size of the graph, which is generally larger.

3. Set the Opacity of the four Peony layers to 100, 67, 75, 68 in turn, the Blending Mode to Soft Light, Hue, Linear Depth, Brightness, and finally expand the canvas, apply clouds, Gaussian Blur The watercolor paper filter creates the texture of the background and adjusts the color of the background by selecting the "Image → Adjust → Hue / Saturation" menu command.
