Part C The characteristics and application of shrink label printing ink

At present, there are four types of inks that can be used as heat-shrinkable materials: cationic UV inks, radical UV inks, solvent-based inks, and water-based inks.

We are a big printing company in Shenzhen China . We offer all book publications, color advertising pictures, hardcover album, packaging box, calendars, all kinds of PVC, product brochures, notes, Children's book, stickers, all kinds of special paper color printing products, game cardand so on.

Since water-based gravure inks are not yet fully capable of replacing toluene inks, the ink industry has been working hard to develop alcohol-soluble inks that can be accepted by the environment. Alcohol-soluble inks can effectively solve the health problems caused by toluene inks and the influence of solvent residues on the quality of packaged foods. In Europe and the United States, this development has become a trend. In Asia, such as Singapore, South Korea and other countries, toluene ink is being eliminated, will be replaced by alcohol-soluble gravure ink. Alcohol-soluble inks have been widely used in the domestic gravure printing industry. It can be predicted that in the near future, alcohol-soluble inks will occupy a certain share of the shrink label ink market in China.

4. Water-based ink

Water-based inks are generally used in flexographic printing. The fundamental difference between water-based inks and solvent-based inks is that the solvents used in water-based inks are water rather than organic solvents, which significantly reduces VOC emissions, prevents air pollution, does not affect human health, is not easy to burn, ink is stable, and is colorful. Corrosion plate, simple operation, low price, good adhesion after printing, strong water resistance, rapid drying, it is particularly suitable for food, beverages, pharmaceuticals and other packaging printed matter, is the world recognized environmental protection printing material, is also all current printing ink The only ink approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Association. At present, 40% of U.S. shrink film products use water-based inks, and other economically developed countries (such as Japan, Germany, France, etc.) use more water-based inks in film printing. According to relevant data, in the United States, water-based inks that meet the VOC emission regulations must reach the state of use of the ink composition, the volatile component ratio is below 25%, and the moisture content is above 75%; the ink with less moisture is not volatile under the conditions of use. The ingredients are above 60% of these two standards.

Gravure inks have also made considerable progress. The WE-type plastic film gravure aqueous ink produced by Beijing Incofan Chemicals Co., Ltd. uses water as the main solvent, a variety of high-molecular polymers as the filming substance, and is accompanied by high-grade organic pigments, inorganic pigments and various additives. It meets the requirements of environmental protection and has good printing performance and adhesion fastness on plastic films such as BOPP, PE and PET with surface tensions of (3.6-4.2)×10-2N/m. After being actually printed on the BOPP film at a speed of 70 meters/minute by the color printing and packaging factory, the printing effect and performance can reach the level of similar products with aromatic hydrocarbon as the main solvent.
