(1) The font used in the output file, please confirm whether there is any output center, otherwise you need to carry the font or convert the text into a curve. PostScript should carry the dot matrix font and printed font together for convenient use. Please do not use the fonts provided by the system on the MAC, such as Kai, Hei, Song, Beijing, Fang song, so as not to cause output problems.
(2) In Photoshop, such as graphics save TIFF format, please delete unnecessary channels and paths before storage. It is recommended not to store as LZW compression format. Please do not select Include halftone and Include Trans-fer Function when storing EPS images. If you use DCS1.0, DCS2.0 or PSImage format, please prompt the output center.
(3) In the desktop publishing system, the gradation processing effect is not ideal, and the jump condition occurs when the output format is large and the color span is large.
(4) If you use CorelDRAW, Freehand, Illustrator and other vector graphics editing software, the font is not specially processed, it is recommended to be dedicated to curve or path (Outline), which will ensure that there is no missing font in the output center. If converted to a path or curve, it may produce aliasing on the screen display, but it does not affect the output.
(5) Spot color gradient in Illustrator and QuarkXPress files. It is easy to make mistakes when printing PS files with composite colors. You should prompt the output center to output PS files according to color separation mode. Composite printing can be used for output, which can improve work efficiency, perform back-end color editing, and eliminate whitening, etc., with great flexibility; color separation printing has higher security, but sacrifices efficiency and flexibility.
(6) The phenomenon of skipping characters, there are two main reasons for the phenomenon of skipping characters at the output: one is that the position of the word is not re-adjusted after the font is changed, and the other is that there is a space between the word and the word. The only solution to the former case is to reposition the word after changing the font. For the latter case, there are two solutions: one is to divide the word into two parts and set it according to the original position; the other solution uses the TureTYPE font, after the position of the word and the figure is determined, the word is changed. For curves, but things to note, the spaces between words must be English spaces.
(7) Please note that in the trial of Founder Weiss and Feiteng typesetting software:
1. It is best to use the version of Weiss 3.1 under WIN31, try to avoid the version of Weiss 3.0 under WIN98, so as not to cause problems in the font.
2. In the fonts that come with Weiss, the following fonts can not be issued in the output center: rough song, amber 2, dark black, medium circle, colorful cloud, Han Jian, Song Si, Xin Bao Song, Ping Black, thin Gold, yellow grass, long scorpion, Japanese 1, Japanese 2, Japanese white, and health.
(8) The problem of making words during the RIP of Fangzheng Century. In the layout process of Founder typesetting software, it is inevitable that there will be words. When you need to get the output center, just put the *.PFI file in the directory to the directory of the PS you need to output, and then tell the output center to RIP's complement path can be shot in this directory (Jiamen RIP needs to be converted to TTE format in the font management program (PfiInsTT)). Avoid errors that are easy to reproduce in the output center. In addition, in the creation of the word, each machine code (or location code) can create any type of font, which avoids wasting valuable machine code.
(9) Founder typesetting software must generate more than 256 gradient stages when generating PS. Otherwise, the gradient has obvious steps, and the RIP setting does not work when outputting. After the image file is generated by Weiss and Feiteng to generate the PS file, the picture information must not be changed. If the change has to be re-typed to generate the PS file, otherwise the picture will have an unknown problem when it is output.
(10) The PAGEMAKER file should check the connection file before outputting, and update the connection information if necessary. If you want to bring up the connection diagram, you can select the storage method with the connection file when storing the PAGE-MAKER file.
(11) When the graphics are stored, check whether the color mode is CMYK mode, to avoid color deviation caused by color conversion when the file is output. When the RGB mode image in Pagemaker is output in pink, it will be output as a grayscale image.
(12) TIFF images with a large amount of graphics in PHOTOSHOP (lengthwise direction greater than 8000 pixels) should be stored in EPS or DCS format to prevent image stretching and deformation when outputting after Pagemaker is imported.
(13) PC version of PageMaker 6.Oc, 6.5C Chinese fonts used in the download for the map, easy to lose words, text symbols to move, more than 30 pounds of large characters with teeth. Moreover, in the 6.0 version, the arrangement of the screen displayed after the English rotation is disordered, but this does not affect the output. This problem has been solved in the 6.5 version.
(14) Chinese characters in PageMaker should not use effects such as bold effect and underline, otherwise problems may occur. For example, using the bold effect to display on the screen is no problem, but when the font is larger than 14 pounds, there is a significant tooth edge after the output. The underline effect is fine in English but there is an underlined press in Chinese. The hollow effect of the text should be transparent at the center, and the border is added, but the center will not be transparent after output. The shadow effect should be transparent at the center. For the word color, there is a shadow underneath, the center will not be transparent after output, and the italic effect will sometimes be incomplete or not italic.
(15) PC input text placed in PageMaker should delete the space, it is easy to appear garbled, PC font has a version problem, easy to produce text guns, lost. Please prompt the output center at the time of output, the version number of the font used. When the 46 version of the Hanyi Wenfang Sibao is output, if the output center RIP installs 100 new Chinese fonts, the space will appear in the space before the word.
(16) It is easy to lose the EPS format file after being rotated in PageMaker. Please rotate or cut it in the production software and then put it into PageMaker software for production.
(17) PageMaker's trapping options should be used with caution, carefully checking the RI interpretation to predict the effect. In QuarkXPress, the external trapping of 0.144pt is automatically set. The relative color text and white background will also be trapped, but the colored characters will be enlarged and the border of 0.144pt will be added, just like the text without background. The thickness is fine. The solution is to select the trapping information in the monitor and select the trapping of the text as Knock out.
(18) Generally, the black color in the palette is set to Overprint of 72pt or less, but for placed images (Grayscale TIFF and BitmapTIFF can be colored in the typesetting film) and lines and larger than 72pt Text can't be overprinted automatically. This is to add a color -k100 and set it to Overprint.
(19) Almost all images can be colored in QuarkXPress and PageMaker, but the color EPS and color TIFF images will not affect the screen, and the output will produce pink on the pink version according to the different components of the color. The effect, so do not color the EPS and TIFF images in the software.
(20) When dealing with RGB colors in CorelDraw, if you use a color-matching print file, the color separation will be color-shifted. You can use color separation printing or manually convert RGB images to CMYK mode in CorelDraw.
(21) In COrelDRAW8.0, if you use the Chinese fonts of the Windows system such as Song, Song, Black, and 楷, do not print the file information after printing the curve after the curve, otherwise the PS file will not be interpreted.
(22) Using PSD format in COrelDRAW The image output speed is extremely slow. In the 8.0 version with a channel or rotation will cause image defects, should be converted in CorelDRAW bitmap
(23) If you use Grayscale's magical TIFF image in COrelDRAW, this Grayscale magical TIFF image will automatically overprint, please convert this Grayscale mode image into CMYK mode in Photoshop and transfer its Grayscale content to On the K channel.
(24) Insert the barcode in Core1DRAW8.0 software, often fourteen colors after output. There are two ways to solve this problem: 1 Select the barcode copy, press ‘Paste Paste’ to select ‘Image’, and change the RGB color to K100, so the barcode is single black when output. 2 Select the barcode and export the barcode to the AI format. After the import, after the adjustment, the barcode will automatically change to K100.
(25) Do not use paragraph text in COrelDRAW, please turn it into art text, or turn it into a curve, otherwise it may be lost.
(26) CorelDRAW, you can use the shading, pattern attached to the software to fill the graphics, or as a basemap, please pay attention when using: 1 select the appropriate image resolution, usually 1.5-2.0 times the number of output lines, such as A low rate will affect the accuracy of the image, and too high will affect the output speed. 2 The selected base map should pay attention to whether its attribute is CMYK mode. Generally, the underprint shading is RGB mode, which should be changed to four-color mode.
(27) Using CorelDRAW to connect with the company, if the amount of file data is relatively large, there are more graphics of the joint office. It is best to combine several small version of the basemap into one, reduce the amount of information in the file, increase the output speed, and pay attention to the text. Do not convert to a bitmap (especially small characters), such as the conversion of text to bitmap will affect the accuracy of the output.
(28) In COrelDRAW6.0, there are two commonly used PANTONE colors: PAN-TONE? Special color and PANTONE? The former can be used as a spot color, and the latter will automatically convert to CMYK mode output when output, instead of being output as a spot color version.
(29) In COrelDRAW 6.0 and 8.0, the contour attribute in the graphic properties should not be selected as “in proportion to image” (COrelDRAW 9.0 is called “contour with image scaling”), otherwise contour distortion will occur.
(30) When CorelDRAW prints PS files in composite color mode, in the special shooting in the option, you must set the “Grayscale Driver Bitmap Output” option to send color bitmaps in color, otherwise all colors in the file. The bitmap will become a grayscale image; the cropped table will be output in CMYK mode, otherwise the corner and characterline will be only black, but this option will not work for the spot color version. If there is a spot color version, you will need The customer draws the corner line and the character line or the color separation print PS file; it is set to 20000 nodes in the node control option.
