Laser printers are widely used because of their good output quality, fast speed, low noise and wide application range. The following maintenance items should be noted in their daily use:
1. The room temperature should be controlled at about 22 °C, relative temperature 20% ~ 80%; and avoid direct sunlight and chemical erosion.
2. According to the command issued by the computer, the laser printer adsorbs the charged toner on the photosensitive drum through photoelectric action, and then prints the photosensitive toner from the photosensitive drum to the printing paper to heat the toner to dissolve the toner into the paper fiber to complete the printing function. . Therefore, the photosensitive drum plays an important role in the entire laser printing process, and the maintenance of the photosensitive drum is more important. The drum should keep the relative humidity at 20%~80% and the temperature at 10~32.5°C during operation. Avoid direct sunlight and try to achieve constant temperature and humidity.
3. The optical cassette in the laser printer is a key component of the printer. If the optical components are dirty, the digital information transmitted from the computer cannot be accurately converted from photoelectric to electrostatic latent image: the digital information of text and image cannot be transferred correctly. On the carrier. Therefore, the uncleanness of optical components is a major factor affecting the quality of the carrier. The optical components and position in the cassette are debugged and positioned with very precise and special equipment. No special equipment can be transferred. Careful care should be taken for the clean maintenance of laser beam inspection mirrors, fiber tips, focusing lenses, hex prisms, etc. To clean the above parts and parts, only bamboo rafters or cork pieces or small sticks can be used to avoid metal damage or scratching the optical parts during the cleaning process. It is best to "dry dry" the hexagonal prisms in the cleaning optics, and other parts can be "cleaned" or "washed". "Water" can be used with anhydrous ethanol. When cleaning, use wood or bamboo tools to mix with suede or medicated absorbent cotton to achieve a cleansing effect. However, it is best to "dry-clean" because "water-eluting cotton wool" tends to lose fiber and affect optical effects.
4. The working process of the laser printer is to dissolve the toner into the paper by the photoelectric principle. Therefore, the paper of the laser printer must be dry and free of static electricity, otherwise the paper jam or the printed document will be black. The printing paper should be stored at a temperature of 17~23 °C and a relative humidity of 40%~50%, so that the best printing results can be obtained.
5. If a paper jam is found during the printing process, open the printer cover, pull out the paper jammed in the printer, and close the printer cover. The fault can be eliminated. If there are frequent failures, clean the corona wire and paper feed track of the printer with a dry cloth.
6. The laser printer generates ozone during the printing process. The ozone filter must be replaced every 50,000 sheets. Although the ozone filter looks clean, it cannot filter the ozone. When the laser printer is placed in a crowded environment, the room is not well ventilated, the printer's exhaust port is facing the operator's face, and the ozone filter is used for too long, the ozone generated by the printer during the printing process will cause harm to the human body. At this time, it is necessary to improve the working environment of the printer and replace the ozone filter in time.
7. Always use a dry cloth to wipe off the paper dust and dust in the laser printer, and clean the corona wire, etc., in order to ensure the normal use of the laser printer and extend its life.
