Q: Can you use an existing RIP?
A: Most CTP systems can accept G4TIFF files from the latest RIP. If your RIP or digital front end (DFE) can output the entire page to the imagesetter, you can basically drive the CTP device. Q: How much training is needed?
A: The more employees are trained, the more confident they are in using the equipment and the faster they can get started. But the more investment you have in training, the higher the budget.
Q: What kind of maintenance contract do you need to sign with the equipment supplier?
A: Please refer to the running time of the equipment, the hourly cost of the press, etc. This can be negotiated with the equipment supplier.
Q: How much space do you need?
