The surface hardness of the plate cylinder after chrome plating is around 1100 Vickers. The hardness of the squeegee should be lower than the hardness of the plate, about 500 to 600 Vickers hardness (HV), too high hardness will make the plate wear too fast, and Scratches are produced, affecting the quality of the prints; the hardness is too low and the ink is not clean. The thickness of the squeegee is 0.1mm/0.15mm/0.2mm/0.25mm, and the printing factory can customize it according to the actual situation.
The shape of the edge of the doctor blade also has two kinds.
