1, the principle
A certain volume of ink sample is expanded to a cylinder diameter over a specified period of time, expressed in millimeters.
2, tools and materials
(1) Ink knives The tapered steel body of the wooden handle is 200mm long, 20mm wide at the widest point and 8mm at the narrowest point.
(2) Glass plate 200mm × 200mm × 5mm.
(3) Ethanol For industrial use.
(4) Cotton yarn.
3, the instrument
(1) The fluidity measuring instrument consists of one piece of mass (200±0.05) g of five-grade weight; two pieces of round glass with a mass of (50±0.05) g, a thickness of 5-6 mm and a diameter of 65-70 mm; A composition.
(2) The ink absorption tube has a capacity of 0.1 mL.
(3) Transparency scale The division value is 1 mm.
(4) Set the clock.
4, inspection conditions
The test shall be carried out at a temperature of (25 ± 1) ° C and a relative humidity of 65 ± 5.
5, inspection steps
(1) The ink sample and the fluidity meter should be placed in a constant temperature room for 20 minutes.
(2) Take 2 to 3 g of the ink sample with a varnishing knife and transfer it 15 times on the glass plate (one round trip). Aspirate 0.1 mL of the sample with an ink-absorbing tube, scrape off the nozzle and the surrounding ink, so that the sample is flush with the nozzle, and the ink in the tube must not contain air bubbles.
(3) Extrusion of the ink in the ink absorbing tube, placing the ink squeegee in the center of the round glass piece in the metal fixing plate with the varnishing knife, and scraping off the residual ink of the ink absorbing tube, and smearing it in the center of the upper round glass piece.
(4) Place the upper round glass piece on the round glass in the metal fixing plate, so that the middle part of the ink overlaps, immediately press the weight and start recording (note that the metal fixing plate is kept horizontal).
(5) Remove the weight at 15 min, measure the diameter of the ink circle with a transparency gauge, and cross-measure twice.
6, test results
The average of the cross measurements is the mobility data. If the cross measurement differs by more than or equal to 2 mm, the test must be repeated.
