Printing inks
1. Depth of basic primary colors is sufficient
1) A variety of field color blocks, such as red, green, blue and other colors of the masthead and logo and other patterns and do not need to level the depth of the basic color to do enough, the general customer for these masthead words and logo pattern color, are required to be strong and bright. Theoretically, it is to give full play to the maximum solid density of offset printing ink to achieve maximum saturation. Although 95% of the dots will increase to 100% after printing, this is not the same as the effect of 100% solid printing, which is only in the 95% dot area
The density in the domain reaches the ground, while the increased 5% area has ink, but the ink density is thinner. 95% of the dots increase to 100% ink density is not as thick and vivid as 100% solid density.
2) The colors of the blue sky, ocean, green leaves, lawn and other colors in landscape photography images, because a fixed concept has been formed in people's minds, therefore, in principle, the color amount of the C version should be deepened on the basis of the color amount required by the hue, and the green of green leaves and lawns is also the Y version, so that the green is saturated and vivid. For the basic colors of red, green and blue depth, according to the color shift and gray characteristics of general offset inks, the optimal saturation configuration is:
Red=M95% Y85%
Green=Y95% C85%
Blue=C95% M80%
3) The characteristics of the dot value configuration of the blue sky: first, the Y color is not placed below 40% of the C color version, so that the blue sky is more beautiful; The second is to put some Y color in more than 50% of the C color version, so that the sky blue does not redden, and the blue is calm and thick. At the same time, because the sky blue ink used now is reddish, the light red is consciously lowered, so that the blue sky is more beautiful.
4) The autumn red leaves of Xiangshan can be treated more red than the actual red leaves, and the depth of the basic color Y is 100%: M is 95%, and C can not be put away, so that the red leaves appear extraordinarily gorgeous under the sun, giving people a pleasant sense of transparency.
This change in the pursuit of color breaks through the traditional color matching method and highlights the aesthetic value of color in the visual arts.
2. Depth basic color maintains hierarchy
1) The range of dot level of the depth basic color is 65%-90%, because the dots above 80% increase more, the level is easy to merge. Therefore, for this area a hierarchy of basic colors is required. On the premise of emphasizing the sufficient density of the ground, the level should be maintained, and the saturation of the density of the ground should not be emphasized, resulting in the hierarchy of the basic color. Processing essentials: the depth of the basic color that needs to be leveled, focusing on more than 80% of the area of the color amount to be moderately lightened, so that it is far away from the field color block,
In this way, the printing can not only print the solid density, but also maintain the layer.
2) In the color processing, the vivid saturation of the color and the light and dark levels in the color are difficult to take into account, if you want to preserve the light and dark levels in the color, you must use complementary colors, Shenzhen packaging and printing with complementary colors, the brightness of the color will be reduced, and the gray scale will increase. If you want to make the colors vibrant, you need to put less complementary colors, so that the light and dark levels in the colors will be affected. For timeliness and packaging products, the saturation and brightness of the colors should be emphasized, which affects the light and dark levels of some colors. this
The final print image has a strong sense of color and good visual effect. The key is to master a "degree", and the grasp of "degree" is the performance of the operator's aesthetic level, which is directly related to the color art effect.
3) The layered texture in the deep basic color is mainly expressed by the main color version, such as red, orange and other warm colors: it is expressed by the Y and M color version; Cool colors such as green and cyan are expressed by the C color version. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize the layered texture of the main color version and realistically show the characteristics of the physical layering.
4) The basic color of the heart zone is sufficient. The dot level value range of the center area is 35% to 65%, which is the main part of most objects and is the key area for color processing. To adjust the basic color of this area to the optimal saturation, the key is based on the amount of color required by the hue. Deepening by about 5%, such as safflower, the bright heart of the M color needs to be 40%, and the deepening treatment can be 45%, so that the red is more saturated and vivid.
