In a larger layout, there is a small or a few colors of the graphic part of the printing [Encyclopedia Weibo] is small, and these images are often some iconic patterns or texts, the accuracy of the hue and the consistency of the ink color requirements More strict. The amount of ink used in these small layouts is almost zero. When printing, especially when printing in domestic monochrome or multi-color, many failures occur, mainly in the following points.

    (1) Because the amount of ink used in the layout is small, the ink fountain is almost completely closed, and the amount of ink is too difficult to control. Under normal circumstances, the amount of ink tends to be too large. If the ink fountain is adjusted to reduce the amount of ink, the amount of ink is likely to be small. Repeating the adjustment of the ink fountain in this way will result in a serious inconsistency in the ink color of a batch of prints. Sometimes even the same print, there will be two or more identical ink colors that are very different.

    (2) Because the amount of ink used in the layout is small and the machine is running at high speed, the “dry rubber roller”, that is, the “dry rubber” phenomenon will inevitably appear at both ends of the ink roller.

    (3) The amount of ink used in the layout is small, so that there is almost no new ink replenishment in the ink path, but the water supply in the layout needs to be “continuously flowing”, so that under the action of the shearing force, the ink is heavily emulsified, which makes the layout “floating”. In order to make the layout clean, it is necessary to increase the amount of water, which makes the emulsification of the ink even larger. This forms a vicious cycle of repeated cycles, the ink color is more difficult to control, and it also causes the small color patches to be illusory and even "sticky back" phenomenon.

When accepting printing a batch of wine boxes, it is printed on white paper, the format is 340mm × 880mm, six colors. Most of the colors are large, even full of solid, the blue version of the picture is extremely small, only a small number of dots and two trademark patterns of about 4mm. In order to avoid the above failure, the paper format is changed to 360mm × 880mm, so that the material is still 3 open, and no raw materials are wasted. At the time of plate making, a 30mm × 880mm solid color strip is printed outside the effective layout of the blue version, so that some ink is wasted during printing, but the ink color is easy to control, and the amount of ink on the layout is Subtle changes are clearly observed on the "color block" and ink emulsification is successfully avoided, thus ensuring print quality.

In addition, some similar jobs do not have a "color block" at the time of plate making, but we cut the "red film" or red paper into strips of different specifications such as 20mm, 10mm or 5mm depending on the paper size when printing the PS plate. Pasting on the outside of the effective layout of the film is equally successful.
