How to correctly print the color card file for icc

When you are working as a printer ICC, you need to use a spectrophotometer to measure the color card file printed by the printer.
These color card files include:
TC2.83RGB (used in regular RGB printers, including most A3, A4 format inkjet printers)
TC9.18RGB (use of high-end inkjet printers, including large format inkjet printers, photo printing, digital film holders, RGB mode photo machines, thermal transfer, etc.)
IT8/7.3CMYK (ps inkjet printer, laser printer, including digital proofing equipment, CMYK mode photo printing equipment, printing, etc.)
ECI2002CMYK (ps inkjet printer, laser printer, including digital proofing equipment, CMYK mode photo printing equipment, printing, etc., better color distribution than IT8/7.3CMYK)
We recommend to use the four color cards that are downloaded (in accordance with our spectrophotometer measurement requirements). In addition to TC2.83RGB, there are several types of color cards, including roll paper, A3 format, and A4 format. Distinguish (the number of patches for each format is the same, except that the size of each file is different.) Several files (3-5, all printed) are included in each format. It is recommended to use A4 format file printing, which is more flexible and convenient for measurement and mailing.
Before opening the color card, you should first make a simple setting for photoshop and the system's internal printer, so that the printed color card will not be mis-converted.

Open Photoshop's color settings panel and set it as follows (in the red box):

Open Control Panel / Printer / select the printer you want to use, right click / Properties / Color Management, delete the color management icc file, as shown below:
Now you can open the color card file.
If you press the above-mentioned autumn setting, when opening the color card file, you will definitely pop up the dialog box as shown below. Please select “Keep the original” and do not modify the resolution, size and make any color adjustment.
When printing in photoshop, first select the Print & Preview Options Panel / Display Other Options (or Advanced), set as shown below (within the red box), do not zoom.
(The version of photoshop is different, the text content and location are not the same here, but please note that this means using the document's own icc settings).
When printing, you should also set up the printer's program, as shown below (this is a very common EPSONR210 for demonstration, other printers and so on):
The focus is on two parts (in the two red boxes above):
1. The paper selection is the type of paper you are using (plain paper is not available, not for playing pictures), it must be consistent with your paper. If you need a lot of different paper ICC files, please print the color card files on different papers and make different icc files separately, so you can't mix them.
Remember the print quality you choose (the second item), and the icc made later will be based on the print quality.
2. Select ICM and select No Color Adjustment. This setting is also selected when printing later.
After receiving the icc file that has been printed, put it in the folder specified by the system, as follows:
Pc computer, 98, 98se, me system, put the icc file in windows\system\color;
2000 and xp system, put the icc file in winNT\system32 (or system)\spool\drivers\color;
NT system, the icc file is placed in winNT\system32\color.
Mac computer, OS9 previous system, icc file is placed in colorsync;
OSX system, placed in the folder, input, output folder of Library\colorsync\profiles\
Then open the Control Panel / Printer / select the printer you want to use, right click / Properties / Color Management, load icc into the color management, as shown below:
The setup is complete, the rest is in the color settings / workspace of photoshop, choose to set the created icc file, which everyone is familiar with.
