First, the type of frame: can be roughly divided into three types: wooden frame, aluminum frame, steel frame.
1. Wooden frame: The cost is very low and easy to handle. It is usually used in small size screens for manual printing. However, the strength of the wooden frame is low, and it is greatly affected by temperature and humidity. It is not suitable for requirements, and the printed matter with high overprinting accuracy has a short life.
2, aluminum frame: small specific gravity, relatively light, even large frame is easy to handle, its significant advantages are: low cost (of course expensive wood frame) light weight, wide selection of sections, can be used to stretch a variety Mesh, rust resistant and easy to clean. But not too resistant to acid and alkali, not as strong as steel frames.
3. Steel frame: It has good firmness, but it is heavy and easy to rust. It needs to be properly treated (galvanized or painted) and the cost is relatively high.
Second, the conditions for the selection of the net frame:
1. The frame must have a certain strength. It will not deform when subjected to stretching and printing, and ensure the size of the frame is fine, thus ensuring the precision of plate making and printing.
2. Under the premise of ensuring strength, try to use lighter ones.
3. The adhesive surface of the net frame and the wire mesh must be rough surface, and the metal mesh frame generally needs to be roughened on the surface to ensure the bonding is firm.
4. No deformation when exposed to solvents and water and temperature changes.
5. Select a suitable frame according to different printing patterns to reduce waste and facilitate operation.
Third, the selection and processing of the frame size:

Depending on the area to be printed and the type of printing, the perimeter of the printable area should generally leave enough space.
2. Processing of the net frame:

_____ Treatment: The polished frame must be thoroughly degreased with solvent (acetone) before use. Oil-based cleaning agents must not be used.
