If it is still at the level of the original metal roller and metal anilox roller, it is difficult to meet the standard requirements for the amount of ink required for various types of printing developed in Japan. At present, flexographic printing has been able to produce high-quality prints. It is also recognized that ceramic anilox rolls have contributed to the development of flexo printing. Metal anilox rolls can only be processed to 300 lines/inch, so only 120 lines/inch of flexographic prints can be printed before the 1980s, and 175 lines/inch of prints can be printed later. 2. Opening to mesh wall


This factor has a certain relationship with the amount of ink transfer, the depth of the cell and the ratio of the number of printing plates, but the ratio of the opening to the wall is unlikely to increase a lot. Otherwise, the service life of the same roller will be affected. At present, the proportional parameters are not uniform.


The anilox roller transfers ink from the cells and the cells are concave. Therefore, there must be a mesh wall between the cells. The ratio of the opening to the width of the mesh is 5:1. In this case, the area of the mesh wall should occupy the whole 31% of the anilox roll. There is no ink on the mesh wall, especially in the case of using a doctor blade. If the anilox roller is used as a gravure plate cylinder, then the printing plate is a flat net, which means that the anilox roller is transmitted by the cell. Ink, is a point of ink. 3. Cell shape

4. Cell depth


This element is also one of the key points. According to the data, the depth of the cell is 23% to 33% of the opening width, and 28% is ideal. This parameter is worthy of negotiation. According to this parameter, the 1000 line/inch ceramic anilox roller has a cell depth of less than 0.01 mm, which is almost the same as the top of the mesh wall, and the amount of ink transferred is very small. Therefore, this parameter is more suitable for metal anilox rolls. Because the metal anilox roller adopts the method of electronic engraving or the mechanical extrusion method of the hob, the depth of the cell is required to be separated from the cell by the knife and the hob, so it is impossible to exceed 1/2 of the opening width. It is impossible to make it bigger, so it is concluded that 28% is an ideal conclusion.


The ceramic anilox roller is processed by laser beam, and there is no requirement for the cutter to be detached. Therefore, the processing depth can be increased in an appropriate amount and can also meet the requirements for use. 5. Cell surface smoothness

6. Anilox roller running speed


The amount of ink delivered by the flexographic printing anilox roll varies with the printing speed, and it should be clearly recognized and mastered as a flexo worker. The single scraper system has a high speed and a large amount of ink transfer; the double scraper seal system has the opposite effect, and the vehicle speed is high and the amount of ink transfer is small.


Flexographic printing started late in China, and there are not many skilled operators at present. Many units are gradually improved by the running speed after the running-in. With a single scraper system, if the color difference is developed in the deep direction, measures should be taken to reduce the amount of ink transferred, increase the number of lines of the anilox roll, or reduce the hue of the ink.


7. Cable angle and mesh shape


The anilox roller is flat and ink-transfer, so the cable has an angle. The meshed wire has 30°, 45°, 60°, but the actual metal anilox roll is 45°, and the laser-engraved ceramic anilox roll is 60°. The 60° intensity is the best and the ink transfer amount is large. The ink transfer system of flexographic printing is developed from metal anilox roller to porcelain anilox roller, and the metal anilox roller is convenient to process 45°, and the half color is formed to meet the requirement of 45° of anilox roller, so metal and ceramic mesh The angle of the wire of the roller is not unified.


In the development of anilox rolls, many dot shapes have been used. Hexagon, quadrangular, grooved, slanted, dot, etc. The grooved, slanted type is suitable for coating, but has been eliminated.

According to the data, the anilox rolls of different lines have the same ink, such as BCM7-8, and the number of anilox rolls is 200~3BCM3.5. The number of anilox lines can range from 400 to 700 lines. This choice is for AC. If halftone is printed, does BCM require 3.5 lines or 700 lines? Will the selection of the 400 line violate the proportional relationship between the number of printing lines and the number of screen lines? Will there be moiré?


The laser light source for processing ceramic anilox rolls has CO 2 and YAG, and other light sources will appear in the future. The light source is different and the characteristics of the cells are different. As described, ceramic anilox rolls now have the same amount of ink delivered due to different processing parameters.


Therefore, the author's point of view is: 1. At present, each unit should understand the principle, function, and BCM of the palm print roller; 2. According to the current loop line, the BCM is not unified, and the range of the BCM range is large. BCM should be the main one, the number of anilox roller lines can not be used as the basis for adjusting the ink; 3. In practice, it is more reasonable to choose and be good at adjusting BCM ink, and communication is a reference; 4. I hope to do only one in the future.
